My husband got us a time slot for their soft opening. We had the crab cake appetizer, which was one of the best I’ve ever had, it was perfectly seasoned. And we indulged in the wagyu selections: the 8oz filet mignon and the 12oz New York strip. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The filet mignon, in particular, was a standout, melting in the mouth with every bite. While the baked sweet potato was just okay and didn’t stand out as much, the cream corn was really good and creamy. We tried both the regular margarita and the prickly pear margarita, alongside another cocktail they're all good! I dont like the building in general and the sun shine direct to my eyes (8pm-ish) but we didnt go there for the place and we'll go back for the food and drinks! Overall, The Forge delivered a fantastic dining experience, highly recommended the wagyu steaks with herb butter garlic butter toppings.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Forge 1912, the new steakhouse in Celina, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a wonderful meal. We started with the crab cake appetizer, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was clear that quality ingredients were used. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a tasty starter. Now, let's talk about the main event - The Forge Elevated burger! I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavorful 8oz Akaushi Wagyu patty and cooked to perfection, it’s a must-try for anyone who appreciates a great burger. Although we did experience a longer wait due to a large party in the restaurant, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They kept us informed about the delay and made sure we felt valued as customers. It’s always nice to see a team that cares about their guests' experience. Overall, Forge 1912 is a fantastic addition to Celina's dining scene. With great food and attentive service, I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!
Went for lunch, and the menu had a great selection. The chicken noodle soup was hearty and super favorable. And the steak sandwich was delicious. Our waitress was sweet, and she was attentive. It's definitely a new regular lunch stop
Food was delicious and the vibes were immaculate. The burger and steak bites were a little overcooked but still delicious. They had a great selection on the menu and a variety of options for drinks as well.
We couldn't be happier to have a true steakhouse so close to home. The Forge never dissapoints, we have been here about 4-5 times since they opened as a family of 6 and our meals are always fantastic. We dream about their cheeseburgers and beef tallow fries. As a mom who is always looking to feed our children meals with fresh and clean ingredients, I really appreciate the fact that they don't use nasty seed oils to fry their potatoes. The beef tallow makes the fries taste amazing and they are so crunchy and just delicious! Service is also always wonderful, everyone is very welcoming, professional and attentive. We will definitely continue to visit this gem in our town!
We absolutely loved dining here this past weekend! The service was fantastic, our server Allie was so personable and so friendly with our kids, we loved her! I enjoyed the prickly pear blackberry martini and could see ourselves coming back just for this drink alone! The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Sometimes it's challenging to get medium rare exactly how it should be, but they nailed it! Linnies Mac and cheese was amazing!!!! Seriously a not to be missed food item! The salad bar was quaint and had delicious homemade dressings and everything was fresh! The kids options were fantastic for the price which I really appreciate. They loved the popcorn steak bites and chicken nuggets (those nuggs were soooo good!!!) and those fries were delicious too; I personally love a good french fry!! We will definitely be returning.
This is an extremely unique opportunity to have a high end steak experience with a wonderful piece of local history. I have now been twice and wish I could steer you clear of a miss, but unfortunately there isn’t one. The cream corn is a must, the tallow fries are off the chain, and don’t forget to go big and get your slice of Pecan Pie. Now… the star of the show is their ribeye. I have consumed high end steak houses all over the country and this is on my top 10 list easily.
We love the hometown feeling of The Forge! The salad bar is amazing. We really love that the steaks are local grassfed steaks and that the fries are fried in beef tallow! Those fries are truly something special! Our other favorite is Carrie’s cookie! Also, one the best hamburgers I have had! The elevated with the bacon jam is delicious! We have already been 3 times since they opened haha
