California Sushi And Teriyaki

Looking for excellent sushi in Santa Maria? This place provides it, with many different dishes and options. Don’t miss them as you drive past on East Main Street! You might be looking for a rather large restaurant matching their reputation. Instead, it’s in an almost unnoticeable, smaller building hiding many wonderful sushi and teriyaki dishes. Service was outstanding, despite the busy dinnertime crowd. There are so many choices, it was difficult to choose. Wound up getting a platter with enough to share. All items were marvelous. Parking is abundant, as there is a large lot just east of the building.

We have been going to California Sushi & Teriyaki for years! We recently stopped going because the prices got higher and the food portions kept shrinking. I love the steamed veggies but when I would open the container it was half full so we haven't been in months. We decided to give them a try again tonight and we were pleasantly surprised! The size of the rolls were AMAZING and felt like we got the most for the money plus they tasted incredible! The amount of fish on the outside of our rolls was extremely generous. The amount of steamed veggies was adequate and did fill up the container. If you are like us and stopped going because portion size had diminished please give them a try again! They are really trying and we want them to stay around.

Loved the food, great flavor, I wish they would have better music/vedeo playing on TV. Some vedeos had stuff i would not want kids watching . Some content is not the best. the service was good, and I just wish they came around to check on you.

Ordered lunch for 2 at work via doordash. Ordered the california bowl and the chicken teriyaki plate. All the food tasted good. The tempura, of course, is not as crispy, but that's due to the delivery. The order was correct with no avocado anywhere in the order, which was perfect!

This is my favorite Sushi spot. Quick, friendly, consistent service Sushi dishes come out of a magazine and taste like heaven Quality and quantity is great Can’t go wrong here. I love the “Tuna Lover” (off menu) and the 805 roll. Bomb!!!

oh my gosh i cant overstate my love for this place, food portions were large and the staff were extremely nice while taking our order. besides the slight bleachy smell indoors, the atmosphere was very calming and id 1000% go here again js to eat and talk w some friends.

We stopped by California Sushi for a quick dinner. The dinner was packed. Food came fairly quick. My wife ordered the bento box with beef and I ordered Teriyaki beef plate. The food was ok for the price and we enjoyed it.

The baked lobster roll is by far the best, not raw but still has a fresh cali roll with baked topping.
