The food is great and the atmosphere is very nice and clean. You can have great conversation get you some good wine and great customer service.
Great food and huge portions. The big ramen bowl was ridiculously huge and good although the pork was slightly dry. The poke bowl was huge as well. The edamame was good off the appetizer menu. Both the hip Hop roll and the sassy Nana roll were also both very good and recommended. Great place. It was difficult to determine things that are gluten free though.
I just discovered Kuroshio Sushi Bar and Grill, and I'm hooked! The food is absolutely amazing! Whether you're a sushi newbie or a seasoned pro, they've got something for everyone. Their sushi selection is on point, with plenty of options for both raw and cooked lovers. Plus, the prices are super reasonable. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. I told them what I liked, and they hooked me up with some great recommendations. If you're looking for a solid sushi spot, look no further than Kuroshio! Highly recommend checking it out!
Food was amazing, the restaurant was kinda plain in style but food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Will come back again.
Our waitress was nice and helpful. Since we were travelling through the area, she gave me good advice about some local pastry and matcha shops. We had the La Rhumba Roll and the California Sunset Roll. Both were delicious. The next time we return, we will try some other items on the menu.
This place was amazing. The customer service was great. The food came out hot and fresh. The food size portion is nice. Our kids(3&8) are picky eaters but surprisingly loved the calamari and sushi. They have been asking to go back, which we will. You will not be disappointed.
Finding good sushi on a Monday can be a challenge, since most spots are either closed or only open for dinner. Luckily, Kuroshio — located right by Cumberland Mall and The Battery — is open and conveniently close to shopping or a fun night out. Free parking is a plus. The initial greeting from the host wasn’t the warmest, but my server more than made up for it. She was sweet, attentive, and really on point. I ordered the Drunken Tiger Roll and the Hip Hop Roll. Let’s get the “bad” out of the way first — the rolls didn’t taste as fresh as I’d hoped. That said, the flavor combinations were on point. The smoked salmon and unagi pairing was a hit, and the yellowtail worked surprisingly well with the spicy tuna sauce. They also have daily drink specials — I snagged a $4 SweetWater 420, which was a nice touch. The vibe inside isn’t anything fancy, but it’s clean, friendly, and laid-back. You can tell the kitchen staff takes pride in both flavor and presentation. I also got The Falcon Roll to go (gotta support anything ATL). All in all, if you’re in the Cumberland area and craving sushi, Kuroshio is worth checking out.
This was my very first time coming to this restaurant and I was quickly seated. The staff were very polite. I had the fried calamari for an appetizer. It was fantastic!! It was lightly fried and fresh. I had the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls and those were the bomb. You can taste the freshness and they were a great portion size. I also ordered the chicken fried rice and the portion size was huge! A great amount for the price. I will be returning again to this restaurant!
