Hands down, this is the most affordable place where you can get fresh and delicious sushi. Service is quick, customer service is amazing and they always treat my boyfriend and I like VIPs here. We’ve been coming here for 4 years and not once have we ever left feeling disappointed. I always recommend my friends and coworkers to this place and they love eating here just as much as we do. I would give them 100 stars if possible!
A little hole in the wall, barely 4 tables and a 4-top counter, with a grade-school kid in the corner building a new LEGO set, obviously family run. Clean, plastic forks and cups, easy listening j-pop music, wasn’t bothered unless I raised a hand/finger. If you need a break from the bustle of a busy day, this place is great.
I've been to this restaurant a few times as my friend introduced it to me + it never disappoints. The first time I went on my own after church I tried Sushi for the 1st time I had Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a salmon cucumber rolls and they were so good my favorite is the Philadelphia Roll. Today I went w/ my friend and we had the Chicken Urbon Ramen soup (hopefully I spelled right, haha!) it was so good . Totally recommend
My first time ordering here and the food was fresh and delicious ! The gyoza were crispy , but not greasy and the filling tasted like chicken and onions . The dipping sauce was far too salty ( but it could be because I’m used to low sodium ‘ not sure ) . I will definitely be ordering again - this may just be my new favorite spot :D
My wife and I walked past this restaurant, did a double take and had a delicious meal. Both the salmon and eel sashimi were delightful. The veggie gyoza and dipping sauce were excellent. Their selection of rolls is not what you are used to. They have created some incredible flavor combinations. We enjoyed the Sexy City and Tropical rolls and there were others we cannot wait to try.
Cozy and delicious! I loved the Dragon Ball and Spruce Roll
We enjoyed a delicious spur-of-the-moment dinner at Machi Sushi recently. Taking advantage of their all-day 3 rolls for $33.95, we got a Sexy City Roll, Dragon Roll, and Yummy Roll. For an appetizer, we had the Spicy Crispy Tuna Wontons and were even surprised to have some complimentary Mango Mochi Ice Cream for dessert. As you can see the presentation was top-notch. More importantly, everything tasted fresh and delicious! While we dined in there were pickup/delivery orders being grabbed seemingly nonstop. Being new to Philly but having tried a few other places in the area, this is now amongst my go-to places for sushi!
My husband and I went for lunch today. We ordered 2 lunch special Menus(3 rolls for $12.95-With soup or salad)Overall everything was good! This place just become our go to place for affordable sushi!
Hands down my favourite sushi place in all of Philadelphia. I've been to so many different sushi locations in order to see if I can get a better deal or fresher or tastier sushi, but Machi really takes the cake. Everything here tastes amazing and it is really difficult to not eat like four bajillion rolls since it is really affordable. Some sushi purists might not be into the idea of a fried sweet potato sushi roll; however, I do recommend it even if you love the flavours of regular fish sushi. It's a nice crispy, crunchy, sweet flavour that really compliments the umami tastes. Their three-roll special is all you need.
Our FAVORITE sushi spot in all of South Philly. We come here for our anniversary and when you dine in they give you extra little appetizers and whatnot. Must visit spot and definitely need to try their Dragon Ball appetizer!
This is a small intimate sushi BYOB restaurant in the Rittenhouse square area, serving moderately priced sushi. I had the sashimi lunch special that was accompanied by a choice of soup or salad. Lunch specials range between $10 and $15. The sashimi was delicious and I could honestly find no fault with it. The miso soup and rice bowl we're good too. This location has 4 high chairs at the counter, and around 4 tables that seat 4 each. They weren't too busy at lunch time, but had a lot of people picking up online orders.
Patrick was amazing. It was my family & I’s first time there and he definitely made it an experience to remember. Highly recommend eating here!
I order from here pretty often. For lunch or dinner while I’m at work and it does the job. The people who serve you are so decent and welcoming. I usually get shrimp tempura roll and dumplings - or, either or. It’s also affordable and that’s my favorite part . If you love sushi I would suggest this spot it’s fresh, clean and welcoming. Enjoy!
It's great, it's cheap. I love taking the kids, who are often doted on. There's also a recurring dinner party that happens there in the back table with a bunch of older folks and it's absolutely adorable. Pairs well with 1-900-ICE-CREAM
Super convenient and affordable. I order ahead and pickup. My go to is their lunch special, 3 rolls and soup or salad. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Great value on their three roll combo. The staff is very kind as well!
