Really great omakase experience. Fish was delicious and reasonably priced. Recommend to be there a bit early before the reservation start time to grab the best seat at the bar. Servers and chefs were all very hospitable and nice. We did the 12 course omakase. They brought out a little birthday dessert with music for people’s birthdays at the end. Tea was hot and delicious and they continue to refill it!
Sushi was good but not mind blowing in terms of taste or experience. I saw this mentioned on other reviews and was surprised because of the high rating and the photos. I have been at other spots where the fish was so fresh, the flavor combinations and creativity were on point, but this was not it. The staff is not super welcoming/accommodating and a lot of people were awkwardly standing around waiting to be seated. If you don’t have a lot of experience with sushi I think it’s worth a try but I would recommend getting the 12 or 15 piece sets instead of the 17. If you are an omakase connoisseur, I would probably pass.
This is by far my favorite omakase spot. The quality of the fish, ambiance, and vibes are amazing. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I recommend this spot to everyone and will definitely be coming again.
It’s my first time trying omakase and Sushi Blossoms was amazing! I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we chose the 17 course for $128 pp. Our experience was 9/10. The food was spectacular, staffs were so friendly and warm. They treat everyone with respect. The chefs were professional and explained the different pieces that were delivered to our plate. Every piece of fish was delicately cut and prepped. Every piece was soft and tender. The soup and dessert left me speechless. They were sooooo good that I’m still thinking about it now. Overall, I highly recommend Sushi Blossoms for anyone that likes sushi or omakase. I’d also recommend to book a reservation early and sit by the bar for the best chef experience.
Great concept and amazing sushi. They've taken an intimate Omakase experience to the next level while making it approachable and focused. Sushi Blossom takes the guess work out of ordering sushi at the sushi bar and connects you with their chefs to have AMAZING food. You won't be disappointed as the chefs find fresh and delicious fish and handmake each piece along with its accoutrements.
The Sushi is alright, not to die for but it’s good. The chefs are super funny and entertaining though. It was around $130 pp and left extremely full :)!
We had a great time! The $85 omakase was more than enough food and everything was delicious — although one course wasn’t necessarily my favorite; however, the amazing service made up for it and our chef was absolutely hilarious. It’s definitely an omakase with a modern flare but still well valued and a great place to dine.
One of the best Omakase I’ve eaten. Seafood selection, seasoning and techniques were perfect. Perfect Sake pairings. Atmosphere was great and relaxing…chefs information were not overwhelming. Staff were courteous and paid attention to detail. Restaurant was neat. Price was right on point.
First omakase experience and the food and service here was amazing! The wait staff was very attentive and made sure to ask if our party had any allergies. The warm towels for our hands were amazing after coming in from the cold. The chefs were very skilled and it was a delight to watch them work. If you are stopping in, I highly recommend shelling out for the $125 premium meal as the additional courses were well worth it. The food was tasty and plentiful and I came in hungry and left feeling stuffed to the gills.
If you like sushi, this is the perfect date night or celebration spot for a birthday or a big promotion. We have had Omakase at 4 different locations at various price ranges. This place ties with a Boston location for the top spot. We've been here at least 4 times, sometimes with friends, usually on our own. Everytime the menu is different, and always delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, the chefs are well-skilled and also hilarious. The ambience is superb with LoFi music, beautiful decoration, and mood lighting that is bright enough to see your food, but dim enough to not hurt the eyes. We recommend this place to anyone visiting The City. You don't have to, but I recommend you dress nicely. This restaurant deserves the best customers for providing the best food and service.
Took my mom and her friends here for their first omakase and I now understand why it is a local favorite. We got the $85 course, which despite being in Manhattan was surprisingly affordable, and the fish was just so fresh and melts straight into your mouth. The staff were very friendly especially the chefs, and the interior was super cozy. This place is definitely a must try for anyone having their first omakase experience! (Note that you might want to make a reservation beforehand, as they are busy most of the time).
Excellent omakase at rational prices, with several options. Advance reservations strongly recommended. The optional sake pairings added to the experience.
My boyfriend and I went here on December 27th when we were on holiday in NYC. We got the 17 course omakase and the 2oz sake pairing. Every course was so delicious and well thought-out. There were even options with truffle, wagyu, uni, and caviar. It was definitely worth the price point in my opinion. The service was excellent, our chef was so informative and friendly. The rest of the staff were also friendly and fun (shoutout Diana, she was serving our sake pairings). We’ve tried a few omakases before but this one was our favourite - food, staff and atmosphere wise. We had such a good experience, will definitely be coming back here every time we’re in the city.
One of the best omakase spots in NYC! Chef Bruce is phenomenal, each course was unique & delicious. Our hostess Mi was great, she made sure our shot glasses were always full. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!!!
Totally worth a visit here for some good omakase! My girlfriend and I went with the $128 premium option for 17 pieces, which I thought was a pretty good value. The fish was fresh and there were some creative pieces. My girlfriend did the sake tasting too, and they were very generous with the pours, filling the glasses to the brim every time. The sushi chef and the staff were incredibly attentive. I wasn't a fan of one of the dishes (I don't like foie gras or that type of texture), and without even asking, they noticed and swapped it out for me! I know a couple reviews mentioned feeling rushed, but I didn't feel that way. We were done in 1h 15m, and that's with me ordering another piece of sushi at the end. Overall, a great experience. Our total came to around $400 for two people after tax and tip. Definitely planning to come back again
Had my birthday dinner here and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in the door the service was incredible and the omakase was SO AMAZING. The quality of the fish and the flavor pairings were out of this world and unbeatable for the price. 12/10 recommend!
