Tanuki Sushi

My husband and I agreed this was the best sushi we've ever had. The quality of the fish, presentation, and relative value were all notable. We were there shortly after opening and were immediately seated, though reservations are highly recommended as it's quite small.

This place is truly phenomenal. The service is fantastic and they are very attentive/friendly. They refill your tea regularly and can help you choose the best sushi. They have specials and they are top tier. Some of the best on the island. I will be back. They have limited parking in the front.

Hands down some of the best sushi and sashimi I have had. The fish is super fresh, the portions are generous, and the team at Tanuki are great. The BYOB service is very good and just look at all the fish in the Deluxe Chirashi bowl! Highly recommended.

Such a clean and nice little restaurant. We are the only one table in the restaurant at lunchtime. They lock the door to prevent other people from coming, which feels very safe. We ordered a sort of sashimi, hibachi carpaccio, honomono salad and salmon dyno roll. All of them are super delicious, highly recommend it!

Hands down the best sushi I've had on the windward side! It comes with a price tag though. This ain't genki. BYOB. Staff is very friendly. Parking is pretty tight in the area, but the restaurant is also very small. Sushi bar and 3? tables. Not good for big groups. But damn. Go here if you want to treat yourself to some really hecking good sushi!
