I graced this establishment years ago, and the tacos were nothing short of transcendent! One of the rare sanctuaries where tacos are forged with both passion and tradition. A veritable temple of taste perfect for gathering kin and companions to revel in this glorious culinary delight!
Great place to eat authentic tacos!! The place is a tradition and the food has amazing taste. I would totally recommend the bistec c/ queso and the agua de horchata. The tortas are also a great. Keep in mind that the portions are big! The best taco restaurant in town
As long as you get the Bistec with Cheese !!! That's the option I get everytime!!!... I wish beverages were a lot cheaper / soda refill option... Still the people who serves are very kind and welcoming, food is GOOD and you'll end up super full!
Highly recommend the dishes we ate; bistec iglesia, street pastor tacos, flan and the tiramisu. Service was excellent. Fair warning, portions are huge so order cautiously.
The food is amazing! Al Pastor and steak tacos are the required fair, make sure to get the fried cheese, it's a thin cheese crisp, very interesting, good flavor. The other app to consider is the namesake of the place "The Hostal" it's a cheese fondue with chicharron and you make your own quesadilla. The deserts were good, not great. The service was excellent, very attentive, Atmosphere is casual, good chairs. Oh the drinks, 'aguas frescas' will quench every thirst and the Michelada beer was served in a frosted mug with salt on top, so good!
Great food, I ordered delivery and everything was packaged well and arrived at the right temperature. I had the chicken enchiladas with mole and the portion size was great (I probably shouldn’t have eaten it all at once, still, no regrets). The mole was very rich, it can be cloying on it’s own just given the depth of flavour, but the crema and salsas worked perfectly with the sauce.

Good place to taste tacos with good quality. Quick service and tasty food . I had “tacos de chuleta con queso” which was not on the menu but my local friend recommended to try out. It has big portion with meat+cheeeese in taco and rib together If you visit CDMX and try local tacos, totalmente recommended
