Tried biryani for the first time and it was fantastic! Unfortunately, the second time (very light and chicken skin peeled off) didn’t quite live up to the first—hoping for more consistency.
One of the best biryanis I’ve had in years packed with rich, authentic flavour. The Hyderabadi Chicken Dum is a standout, and the Pepper Chicken Fry pairs perfectly with it. Truly gives you the feel of a traditional South Indian biryani experience. Note: It’s strictly takeout only, and parking can be tricky best to find a spot behind the restaurant.
Taste of Biryani here is what keeps bringing me back for more. However, I think they use lamb in mutton Biryani instead of goat meat and experienced tastebuds can make out the difference clearly. Portion size is great and so are the flavors. I'll be back soon looking for more.. :)
My daughter and I were really craving biryani when a friend recommended Biryani Pot, saying it was definitely worth trying. After browsing their website, I was pleasantly surprised to see how reasonable and competitive the prices were, especially for the quality they promised. We decided to give it a try, and we’re so glad we did! The biryani was flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The rice was cooked just right, and the meat was tender and juicy. We also ordered a chicken appetizer, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You could truly taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for the price. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable meal for both of us. We’re already looking forward to ordering again and trying more dishes from their menu!
Had an amazing experience at Biryani Pot! The food was absolutely delicious. The Chicken 65 Biryani was packed with flavor — perfectly spiced, aromatic, and cooked just right. The cut mirch was another highlight. Such a comforting, satisfying and authentic taste. If you’re craving flavorful, authentic biryani in Calgary, this place is definitely worth visiting. Our first time buying mutton and chicken biryani from this place. All I can say is they taste really good and everyone loved it.. I will buy the mild spice next time (can't handle the medium spiced one ), definitely recommended. Price is great too!
Hidden gem of Biriyani and Chicken 65. The flavor is amazing and portions are great. It is good value. From order to pickup is 20 mins. The parking is sparse so pickup and go!
The best Chicken Dum Biryani I had after soo long. Chicken is so good, soft with so flavorful rice, goes so well with raita. Loved it!
Since 2023 I’ve been a regular customer. Weekly once or monthly twice. They never disappointed in taste. It’s a small takeaway restaurant with good Briyani. Chicken 65 Briyani and mutton Briyani is and will be my favourite.
They make the Best Biryani in the entire Calgary region. I always order their family pack cause it gives the best value for my money. I haven’t tried anything else other than the biryani. Their biryani is my favorite and i just hope they remain consistent with the taste and price.
