The staff is super friendly, food is made at the moment you order and is so delicious and affordable. We had 3 different dishes and we loved them all.
This is the best Thai food you can get . The chicken satay especially, anytime I have ever went to the px I have been sure to get this . Service and food was ono highly recommend the chicken satay !!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I always get the Red Curry chicken. Chicken Satay is very tasty as well. The Chia Lemonade is so delicious and fresh. All the dishes allow you to choose your own spice level from 0-10. This place is well worth the wait. Call ahead and place your order. You won’t regret it! Super friendly staff also
The only Thai place I've found in Honolulu that doesn't skimp on the spice. I like it so spicy I have to take breaks a third way through, and they sure delivered! It came with three nice slices of pineapple that balances the salty/spicy savoury flavours of the pad Thai.
Stumbled on this place right off base around lunch time. This “shack” is no fast food joint. Everything is made to order, so it takes about 10 mins to get your food after ordering. But the wait is well worth it! We ordered the pangang curry and Thai boat noodles. Both were flavorful and fresh! For $12-$13 per meal, this was a large helping. I will say, the Thai boat noodles did have some chunks of lemongrass, cloves, and other sneaky flavor bombs that can get intense if you aren’t careful to pick them out. I will come back again for sure!
Scrimp Pad Thai. I think this version is better than the Thai food truck on the Hickham side. Would have liked more green onion, sprouts and egg. Overall it was good. It didn’t take me to Thailand or anything. It was enough for lunch and dinner.
My wife and I eat lunch at the Thai Shack whenever we visit Oahu and the Navy Exchange. Food is consistently excellent, service is outstanding and the price is much better than any Thai restaurant near our hotel in Honolulu.
