Great experience. We enjoyed both the stellar service and food. What we ordered: -Queso Fundido (4/5) -Spinach empanadas (5/5) -Arrachera tacos (5/5)- especially when you add chimichurri -Arrachera Caballo (Uruguayan plate) (5/5) add chimichurri -House wine: Merlot (4/5) *green creamy sauce that comes with bread is fantastic! I ate it with both the bread and fries that came with my steak. Servers were genuinely friendly and attentive! Great relaxing atmosphere to dine in the Condesa area.
Lived in the neighborhood for about three years. At that time the place was often pretty empty - the location was a little off the strip. But the food! Sometimes they closed early for lack of clientele. We would call to see if they were still open, and nights they were closing early we'd ask if they would stay open for our family to come by. Steaks, salads, baked potatoes, grilled onions and creamed spinach were our faves, done to perfection. REally sweet people there, friendly for kids, and insistent on quality even when there weren't that many customers to appreciate it. So glad for them (and me) that they are still around, and now that I am back, I will rediscover them.
Excellent place for your family and friends, nice atmosphere and great food
Amazing food! The server was very attentive. I ordered the Provoleta as an appetizer and the Ribeye as the main course. The fried provolone was so good and the Ribeye was cooked to perfection.
Value for money, this place was good. We shared a lovely bottle of Uruguayan wine, a cut of steak, creamed spinach, peppers, salad, blood sausage and provoleta. Wow. Too much food but we sampled and enjoyed. Sunday nights are quiet in CDMX but we didn't mind the very calm vibe. Service was attentive and respectful.
