Pho is the best! The pho here is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — you can taste the care in every bowl. The broth is aromatic, the noodles are just right, and the fresh herbs make each bite refreshing. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Easily one of the best pho spots in town!
Best Pho spot you will find here. Little hole in the wall spot that I’ve been going to for over 20 years. Definitely recommend anyone looking for authentic Northern style Pho. I say this with confidence that it will surpass any other spot you’ve tried. Vinh, the owner, very friendly face and very accommodating, always treating all his customers the best. You gotta come by and check it out! You will not be disappointed!!
When you go to get New York pizza - IN New York you don’t go to the glitzy place. You go to the place that looks aged, but has been there “pho’r” a long time you know you hit the jackpot. 45+ years they’ve been in business…no MSG in their soup. That is what you want! I had the Pho with steak and brisket (1.B.) and it was fantastic. Good flavor, tender meat, crunchy veggies. It could probably cure a cold or an STD. But let’s be real, only a good matzah ball soup from grandma can fix that, ha! Kudos to the family at Dac Phuc for keeping it real…really good!
Best pho I ever had! I love the home style restaurant with quiet atmosphere! They even offer everyone hot tea instead of tap water! The soup is very tasty, not too salty or light, the meat is very fresh, just try it once and you will love it!
I really enjoyed their stir fry sitting on top of crispy noodles. The flavor was hearty and lightly salted. The vegetables taste better than the meat. The noodles never got too soggy either.
Perfect lunch stop on our way to Monterey Bay! My partner recommended the place and said it was great years ago and it is still great to this day! The pho was super tasty and the broth was very rich. The Vietnamese coffee kept me awake all day. The lemonade never arrived but they were super friendly and nice and took it off the bill. I’ll stop here again if we are driving past San Jose. Omg now I want pho now.
I got a chance to have a lunch in Dac Phuc. Ms Loi, the owner is nice. Pho is okay, but I think the best is “fire banana”. Must try.
I absolutely love Dac Phuc. I've been looking for a pho place that is up in San Francisco that can hold a candle to this place for ages and I've not found the contender just yet. The broth is crazy flavorful and not too heavy on the star anise, which I prefer. Plus the noodles are never overcooked and the service is warm and friendly.
