I've always known this place as a place to order party trays from. They do, forever, have a handful of tables where you can sit and dine in for a meal. Their Hu Tiu Nam Vang is pretty legit and a meat try. I got mine half rice noodle and half egg noodle. They do load up on the protein and the broth comes with a piece of bone. It's a great dish to have on a cold day.
One of the best tasting Rice vermicelli plates I have had in years! Reasonably priced, and full of flavor. The only problem was that I was having some serious FOMO looking at the combination noodle dish the table over was enjoying.
Portland has great food, and Danh’s Kitchen is one of the spots worth stopping for. The bún bò Huế is rich, spicy, and full of real flavor — not watered down. The bánh xèo and bánh bèo are fresh and well done too. The Hu Tieu Nam Vang here is done right. The broth is clear and naturally sweet — light but still full of flavor. Generous toppings with shrimp, ground pork, liver, and quail eggs Simple space, friendly service, authentic Central Vietnamese taste. I’d come back.
The food is Phenomenal (Taste the LOVE & Care put into this food! ) The Service is exactly what you should expect at a restaurant like this and I think better service than most in Portland in 2025. The atmosphere is also what I expect for now. The Price is unbeatable for what you get. This place is going to be #1 for it's category of food. Danh's will only be going up in the world with the High quality and consistency of this amazing food. Thank you Danh's for the Life's work and Love put into the food I truly appreciate the experience and will be there at least once every time I'm in Portland. Any Chef in Portland would be proud to serve this food. P.S. Anyone that puts less than 5 stars for the food is not worthy of reading their review.
Solid place for authentic Vietnamese food in Portland!!!! I’ve tried many other places, however, this place totally brings me back to Vietnam with all the noodles and rice dishes! Especially their “ăn chơi” menu! Solid drinks kind of food and super duper delicious!
Came in for a meal based off of seeing how full it was one evening while driving by. We had a delicious meal and will certainly be back. Both of us left satisfied and happy… the dishes were full of layered flavors and textures and it was just fun to eat. You can tell that they make their food with love and care.
The most delicious bowl of dry hu tieu I've ever had. The side soup was incredibly flavorful as well.
All the Vietnamese food here is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
