On a random Monday, I happened upon a TT video of a mom and her babies trying the Fufu and Egusi. I was in from that moment on… I sent a message inquiring about placing an order. Yvette responded fairly quickly. I needed to wait until Friday to order, and everyday leading up to Friday, I was so excited! lol. I just knew in my heart it would be delicious! After hours of trying to pay her… my bank was being all in my business and wouldn’t approve my multiple attempts to Zelle her funds… I placed my order for pickup on Saturday… My drive home was about 20 minutes… I don’t know what kind of apocalypse containers she uses, but the food was turned-my-fingers-pink hot, even when I made it home! LOL! I couldn’t wait for the first taste. Y’all! It. Is. SO. Tasty! I had to try the Fufu and Egusi first! 10/10. Perfect! I LOVE Peanut Soup, and that was my next taste! 10/10. The Goat Stew holds a special place in my heart… read belly… too! 10/10. I ordered Pounded Yam Fufu and Egusi (chicken), Peanut Soup (no protein), Goat Stew, Garri Fufu, and Dodo. I will definitely order again! It tastes like love in a bowl! Run! Don’t walk! This was my first time trying a TT recommendation. I am SO glad I did! It was worth the wait!

This meal was everything!! The fish was perfectly seasoned and grilled to tender, smoky perfection—every bite was packed with flavor. The plantains were golden and slightly crisp on the edges with that soft, sweet center I love. And that pepper sauce? Whew—just the right kick to wake up my taste buds. I really, really enjoyed this. Definitely a hit!

I’ve been looking for Egusi and fufu for a while and was about to give up until I tried once more googled and this gem popped up!! And OMG!! I literally ran to get it. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ll be going back for the rest of the food she has to offer. Yvette is so sweet and personable. You have a lifetime customer now. Thank you!! See you soon.

The chicken was ITTT (it was so flavorful), the egusi soup was also so good, and everything was also fairly priced. The owner was so sweet too, will definitely be coming back and ordering.

I have been craving West African food for I don’t know how long. I used to cook it all the time, but I am now an empty nester and it’s pretty hard to cook smaller portions of this. I looked online, not very hopeful for what I was looking for, and Yvette’s Kitchen popped up. I ordered egusi soup and fufu. It was amazing! Not only was the food good but she is a great person as well. You need to call and place your order ahead of time and she will text you when it’s ready. She makes everything from scratch to order. I liked it so much. I even took a picture of the full menu and put it on my Facebook. Big portions! I will definitely be back!

I bought food for a Ghanian lady as a welcome to America gift. It was promptly prepared and she enjoyed it. Yvette is also good at communicating promptly. Will definitely be back again. This dish can be enjoyed by anyone not just west Africans

I have been wanting to try this place out for actual months now. I'm torn between saying "this is worth the wait" and berating myself for not ordering sooner. Yvette has been so lovely, so responsive and kind. We ordered grilled chicken, chicken egusi, fufu, and chicken jellof. The grilled chicken is probably the most flavorful grilled chicken we've ever had. Perfectly seasoned! Eat it with the green sauce and the jellof, and you have a perfect bite! The fufu was incredibly soft and the ideal vehicle for the egusi. I think I can eat the egusi with fufu everyday. That's how delicious it was. I love rice, so it's no surprise I enjoyed the jellof. I've already said this but I don't know how else to describe it but "perfectly seasoned". It was very difficult for us to take these pics before devouring. 10/10 highly recommend trying out Cameroon food! tldr: 10/10 recommend. Do yourself a favor and try Cameroon food (thank me later). Two words to describe it: perfectly seasoned.
