Came from out of town for a wedding, decided on this place. First off The lamb haneeth was very tender hot sauce was good as well. They served a lamb soup before our meal and it was very delicious and fresh. No lie I got mostly full just off the soup alone. I didn’t get to try their tea but from the guy sitting at another table had it and it looked good, I’ll have to try it next time I’m in town. The lady that served us was very sweet I think it’s a family business everybody seem hard working and very friendly. Please don’t let the outside look of the building deceive you. Yes it’s does give off a sketchy vibe/ seem run down but there is people inside that are hard working and the food definetly is A1. Give it a try it was very fresh and delicious!

I always thought the best Yemeni food was in Hamtramck, MI. Then I ate here. Can't go wrong with the haneeth. But the lamb agdah was on another level.

Coal chicken was delicious and juicy. Full of flavor. Their soup and salad was included in the meal. for the price for all of that to be $15 is overall really well worth it.

Tried Yemeni Star for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, the service kind and helpful, and the overall atmosphere warm. Definitely will go back. Standout dish was the Fahsa.

The people were amazing and kind. The food was delicious and would definitely come here again. You cant the food any more authentic than this. I was offered free tea, while I waited for the order. I lived in Qatar for almost 20 years and I can assure you that this place serves the best Yemeni/Arabic food in Upstate NY. You wont regret your decision if you come here.

Wow. This felt like I was in my Gida’s kitchen. Phenomenal, don’t tell G but this aseed was better than hers. Everything from the beef, tuna & lamb was so tender and delicious. 10/10. Honestly phenomenal. The hilba for the aseed was some of the best.
