The cold cup is a nice little restaurant and ice cream parlor. They have broasted chicken which was excellent. They have a very wide selection of frozen yogurt hand dipped ice cream and soft serve ice cream. I make a lot of different combinations of Sunday's milkshakes and other ice cream treats. The service was fast and the people were friendly.
Ice cream is really good here! We enjoy stopping here for a treat on those hot summer evenings. Reason for not giving it 5 stars: their AC is horrible, so don't count on escaping the heat when you go here. I think if they kept it cooler inside, the kids that work here would be more cheerful, they must be boiling during their shifts, poor things.

Very good ice cream and diner food. If you're looking for quick, easy and always good, it's a great stop. They have an outdoor window where you can order from and utilize their covered outdoor seating area. You can also go in to order and eat in the dining room. With its ease of access from 487 and great hours of operation, it makes it a stop that can't be beat. The staff is always wonderful and attentive as well.
Monday is their $10 shrimp basket. You get 21 shrimp and fries. Very good. They still have peanut butter yogurt, too.
Update: owners have taken care of these issues and I will once again be returning as a customer. Being new owners everyone deserves a second chance. I own a business and I have been given second chances before. Good luck in your new endeavor. Was in on Thursday and bought a Monster Choc PB shake and A large PB shake they were awful and tasted sour. I threw them in the trash. I had a million things going on as I am dealing with the death of a family member so I called the next day to tell them there was and issue. I told them the problem and the girl quickly said yeah we had complaints about our peanut butter…. I then asked if the shakes could be replaced… she says the owner says NO…. My family and I have gotten ice cream once or twice a week from here for the past 2 seasons needless To say you have lost my business over 2 shakes. Terrible way to treat a loyal customer…. That’s ok there are plenty of other places to get ice cream
I don't know the place very well, only been there twice, but my experience is satisfactory, well definitely go again when I have a chance. I got their soft dipped ice cream, and I liked it. Young kids that worked there are always very polite. It's that classic little business almost in the middle of nowhere, where time seems to have been frozen. Peaceful, simple, and enjoyable.
Very good meal,variety of food. Quick service and the most friendly staff there is. Definitely a great place.
