Jae and his wife not only run a great place to eat but are also awesome human beings! I have eaten breakfast there pretty much every work day morning for almost 11 years. There are guys I see that have been eating there daily for twenty plus years. Highly recommend! It's not fancy food, it's filling food that leaves you wanting more!
My husband and I LOVE the Brookville Eatery! We discovered it accidentally as it's right behind our apartment, so we thought we'd stop in one day on a whim. Now we walk in and they know our order and every single time, it's delicious! We both get the steak & cheese sub and highly recommend it!
First impression was that the sub was rather small. Then I ate the sub. It was delicious. One of the best cheese steaks I have ever had. In the end I was happy. I would suggest getting something else with your sub though.
Classic and reliable greasy spoon with delicious food and the owner remembers me every time I come in even though I only come through once every few years when I’m in the area. What it lacks in ambience is quickly forgotten once you bite into their cheeseburger. I hope this place never changes. It’s a throwback to the 80’s with the old menu boards still on the wall. You expect the Stranger Things crew to come hang here.
The quality to price ratio is really good. They make a good steak and cheese sub and when you factor in that it's only $6.99 it becomes an amazing sub.
Simple shop with great value. Saw the other cheesesteak comments so had to try it first. Pretty tasty, quick service, need to come try their breakfast stuff.
Amazing little diner, old school, tiny. Food made to order, simple and perfectly cooked. Easy, short menu to choose from. Great break from rushed, frozen, poorly made, bad service, modern eating. Miss classic diners like this. If you’re looking for something fancy, you’re going to be disappointed. But if you’re looking for a good quality, inexpensive meal, this is this place. Owners were very nice, and accommodating. Really appreciated grabbing breakfast here while I waited for my motorcycle to be serviced at Cycles of Silver Spring.
