We had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. What made the experience truly special, though, was our server Alexis Antonio Reyes de la Caridad Cruz. Alexis was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down. He gave us excellent recommendations and everyone was happy with their order. It felt like he really cared about making sure we had a great time and we did. Service like that is rare in Miami and made the whole experience feel extra memorable. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly amazing service. Michael’s Genuine is one of those places that never disappoints. The niçoise salad is outstanding and perfectly balanced, and it is honestly one of the best versions I have had anywhere. When stone crab is in season, it is a must order. Everything is incredibly fresh and simply prepared, which really lets the quality speak for itself. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, and the service always feels professional without being stuffy. It is the kind of place you can return to again and again, whether for a casual lunch or a great dinner in the Design District. A true Miami staple that still feels timeless.

I brought my mother here to celebrate her 62nd birthday. Our server Alex was the best!! He really made the experience even more special. The manager Amanda was also very sweet, checking in on us and making sure we were taken care of. I’ve been here several times, but this was my mother’s first time and she said she couldn’t wait to come back next time she’s in town. Thanks again Alex and Amanda. Also, my mother really appreciated the birthday card the talented hostess created for her. You all made her feel so special. We had the burrata (got an extra plate to go) and devil eggs for our starters. (Can’t go wrong with either of those dishes) The falafel mezze and roasted snapper for our mains. (Both were delicious. *chefs kiss) And the creme brûlée and Malva pudding for dessert . Creme brulee is my all time favorite but I decided to try something new and I was not disappointed. I would choose the Malva pudding over any dessert and that’s saying a lot from someone who loves creme brulee.

We loved Michael’s Genuine so much that we ate there two days in a row—dinner one night and lunch the next—and every single dish was exceptional. At lunch, we had the cobia sandwich and the burger, both perfectly executed and incredibly satisfying. We started with the house-made potato chips and onion dip, which were addictive in the best way. We also ordered the tuna carpaccio again after having it the night before for dinner—and it was hands down the best tuna carpaccio we’ve ever had. Consistent, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Beyond the food, the experience really stands out. The staff are attentive and genuinely courteous, and the restaurant is clearly very well managed. Everything runs smoothly without feeling rushed or pretentious. The location is fantastic—set among beautiful shops with great people watching, which adds to the overall experience. Definitely use the valet for parking; it makes things easy and stress-free. A true standout in Miami—this is the kind of place you immediately plan to return to.

Michael’s Genuine is truly a Miami gem. With a rotating menu, you can visit multiple times and never eat the same thing twice. Prices are typical Miami prices, so don’t expect a cheap bill, but the quality makes it worth it. The truffle pizza was the highlight of the night, the cocktails were incredible, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The ambiance is beautiful, and every dish we tried was outstanding. The dessert— the coquito tres leches — was absolutely to die for. This place is a must-visit in Miami!

Had such a great dining experience! The vibe (+decor) is a little old-school, but that just adds to the charm. The food? Absolutely delicious (that cookie on the pic is LIFE- 맛있어요). The cocktails? Spot on. The staff were super friendly and never rushed us, which made it the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the night. I’ll definitely be back — this spot is a true OG in the Miami Design District. Hard to believe it’s been around since 2007!

Michael’s Genuine is consistently recommended by everyone who works in the neighborhood. We went again last Wednesday, after it was personally suggested by Antoine Brandt from Versace, and once more it did not disappoint. The service is exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely professional. The staff elevates the entire experience, and you can feel how well the team is trained. Great lunch/brunch with friends. Friendly and welcoming. A little over priced but worth it. Food is little bland for my taste and some of the items were a bit salty for our taste. But it was packed and vibrant. Loved the atmosphere. Also the 1/2 chicken was not really half rather it was quarter

Sarah demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to making our meal enjoyable, excelling in every aspect of her role. Her attention to detail was outstanding—she anticipated our needs efficiently and professionally. Beyond her impeccable service, Sarah also possesses a great sense of humour, which made the entire interaction memorable and fun. Outstanding food and service never disappointing. We ordered the triple tail fish, tuna carpaccio and squash salad with feta, all were delicious and perfectly seasoned.

Mike is the perfect example of fantastic customer services and we enjoyed our meal. To top off the great service and compaction, we ordered a danish that I personally did not like much and the manager sent me another desert that was delish and they did not charge me for neither. What a great experience and will definitely come back again and again and will recommend to everyone I know…thank you so much!

This restaurant is incredibly easy to access! The staff is wonderful—extremely accommodating and polite. Our waiter, Sebastian, was fantastic and answered all our questions about the menu with ease. The drinks were exceptional; my wife enjoyed an extra drink with Tito’s and blue cheese olives, which was outstanding! We will definitely be returning to this delightful place again!

Our wine club had lunch at Michael's on Saturday and it was nothing short of excellent! Sebastian our server took care of us for our group of eight and the food was well coursed and very good...perfect lunch dishes to share family style! The wine list also is one of the best, very approachable for new wine lovers and several gems for experienced wine fans too. Highly recommend!

Wow. Wow. WOW. That’s all I have to say about Michael’s. I came in with zero expectations and left FLOORED. The service from the bartenders Salgi (Slagi?) & Jake were absolutely phenomenal. And beyond that, yeah, they were Michelin rated, but I don’t care about that when checking a place out, but they ABSOLUTELY deserved it. Their happy hour was by far one of the best I ever experienced in Miami. Their apps are $6 & cocktails $10. Their amazing. Don’t miss out on this and go NOW.

Good New American restaurant with great burgers, pizza, ice cream and cake! The service was nice and friendly overall. We could come back to try the drinks and some of the other desserts.

We had an amazing experience for Miami Spice. Food was delectable, drinks are creative, and service was top notch. Nadia really took great care of us and made our night out special.
