River Boat Depot

First time here, Riverboat Depot you nailed it! Arrived at 6:45sh on a Saturday night to avoid a dinner rush. Cute place, well layed out, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. My husband and I don't go out to eat much anymore because the food and service always sucks, not here. Anna was an awesome server. Nice, outgoing, and funny. We didnt have to wait for anything; greeted and drinks right away, food took only 10 minutes. Didn't have to wait at all for a second drink, a huge plus. She did not hover or bother us but was visible if we did need anything. Able to get and pay bill immediately which is also a huge huge plus for us. Kitchen rocks too!! 10 minutes to get our order? Wow. Burger and fries were great and what might not be a big deal to some, but on a what i think was a homemade bun and TOASTED bun. Butterflied shrimp basket was very good too, waffle fries yum. We will definitely be back. My only suggestion to Riverboat would be: your reviews rave about your soup; maybe post them daily on your FB so people know prior what it is.

My family had a wonderful experience! We had a battleship burger, BBQ chicken wings, and a grilled cheese with fries. They were all delicious. Also, we didn't have to wait for a long time to get our food. The server was kind and friendly. We'll definitely come back!

We love the food here when we're in the mood for something fried. Best cheese curd in the area. Only restaurant with a view of the river. Management needs to do a better job though because they frequently seem to be lacking on service. We've walked out without getting served twice last year because the servers were nowhere to be found.

Best onion rings ever!! Great friendly servers. The outdoor seating looks right out onto the river. All we had to do was bring this great sunny day .

Great service and food, the atmosphere is a bit dive bar though. It wouldn't take much to clean up the atmosphere a bit. They have a patio on the riverside which is great, but they still are not fully capitalizing on the great river views!

Outstanding ! I have driven past here for 9 years and never stopped until today . I am so glad I did Service- Miranda was very friendly and got our order in a very quick and professional manner. Food- I ordered the chicken tender melt O M G soo GOOD! nice and hot full of flavor did NOT disappoint. Price- Very reasonable for two meals $$ In conclusion I'm very satisfied thank you guys so much for an amazing meal !

I stopped into River Boat Depot in Sartell with a friend not long after I moved to the area, just looking to grab a drink — and I’m really glad I did. Even though I didn’t get food that day, I’ve heard plenty of great things about their menu from locals, and after being there, I can absolutely see why people love this place. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town bar in the best possible way: comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. The staff made a great first impression — friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to without ever feeling pushy. Even the other customers added to the vibe. It felt like the kind of spot where everyone knows each other, but newcomers are still welcomed right in. It’s the kind of bar that makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door, and I enjoyed every bit of my visit. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m trying the food.
