I didn’t get a picture of it on the pan we ate it so fast lol the meat lovers is so good. You won’t be disappointed prolly the best pizza me and my husband ever ate. The dough is soft and has a sweet taste to it. It was loaded with meat and cheese. Super yummy glad we chose to come here and eat. We are staying at the Cadillac hotel across the street and walked over here.
Ordered an off menu item: grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Also tried their cheesy garlic bread sticks, also very delicious. Wait staff was quick to seat us, very friendly, and brought out the drinks right away. Took a while for the kitchen to prepare the pizza and sandwich but the wait was worth it! Very nice old town feel for the restaurant. Clean and well kept up. I am glad we tried a local eatery on our road trip. If you looking for a break from the road and have some time to kill, you should give this place a try. I am sure you'll like the food as much as I did!
Great local spot with awesome vibes—welcoming for both locals and visitors. Feels like a cozy college or basement bar, complete with Christmas lights and low ceilings that add to the charm. The pizza is excellent, the service is friendly, and honestly, the bathrooms are much cleaner than you’d expect for a bar like this. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
Steis Village Inn is a nice sports bar environment with great food and beer prices according to the other reviews that I read. When I went in for the first time while visiting Lexington, I knew that there was a lot of great food options; the loaded bbq beef nachos were delicious and the menu has the best options tailored with excellent prices! One minor nitpick is that the service can be slow depending on the time of business. I went in at roughly quarter to noon and food arrived with few people in a lengthy time. If visiting downtown Lexington, or you’re a Lexingtonian, it’s a great place to have a drink or a bite to eat!
I almost give it one for service because the server at the bar was super rude. My husband and I sat at the bar and the blonde server was in a bad mood when we arrived because she angrily gave us the menus and just throw the silverware at us. We were shocked then the customer next to us mentioned that she ignored him for 30 min so my husband then said something to her and she had an awful attitude. We were thinking about leaving even though we just ordered a Large meat lovers pizza. Luckily the shift of the rude server ended and Amanda took her place and we had a different experience. I didn't get the name of the young short blonde server but I was glad she left because we got to stay and enjoy a delicious pizza and we enjoyed very much our drinks as well. My husband ordered a couple of white Russian and I ordered Irish coffee ( coffe with Baileys) that was delicious.
Splitting for a pizza and a good conversation and a little date pizza was great as always company was better
I have been coming to Steis's since I was a young child. We always get several large pizzas for our party as well as the cheese bread. My mother loved the friend mushrooms, they were her favorite appetizer. There is a small menu for young children. We visited yesterday just before the dinner rush so getting a table was easy. There is parking in the back and a ramp available for wheelchairs. This is a favorite must visit when in the Lexington area.
Service was great . I got the BBQ chicken pizza. It was good. I would give it a 6.8 out of 10. If ranch was drizzled on top that would bump up my score. Bread sticks and pizza sauce was good. My daughter got the BLT. She rates it a 6.5. She thinks it should be a BLTA. BLT + avocado . Daughter gave the Mac and cheese a 3.0 out of 10. My parents were very happy with the vegetarian pizza 8.0 out of 10. Our waitress Maddy was awesome very nice and made sure we had what we needed.
