I had the Hobart Jr (basically a cheeseburger with ham). My wife couldn't decide between the beans or beef stew so she got the "Beans and Stew". Everything was very good and came out fast. Excellent food and service and cheaper than a lot of places we eat. I'm sure this is the first of many visits!
Well cant really review, tried to have lunch there today, heard lots of others rave over the burgers, however, Big sign on the front door says " Cash and Checks " only. Which is surprising, don't use Checks, did not have enough cash.. would of been nice had that been posted on the website..oh well! Another day maybe..
Had the omelet with cheese, onions n peppers n hashbrowns with the same 3 plus a light n fluffy biscuit. Staff were busy, but very friendly fast and friendly! Food was hot n served fast. I'll be back, wish they offered breakfast all day! Room is nicely decorated n roomy but sound bounces all around.
1st time here. I'll definitely eat here vs to go next time. Nice place. Clean bathroom. Good burger and fry.
Had to try The Burger Shack! Pass by it all the time and it always has a full parking lot Great local burger and breakfast (we'll try this next visit) place. Our cheeseburgers and fries were served quickly, hot and very tasty! Right off the grill taste and crunchy on the outside crinkle fries. Interior was fine, just a bit cavernous with it's high ceilings and very large almost warehouse interior.
We're regulars at the Burger Shack! The food is delicious and the service is great. The atmosphere is no frills, but has some interesting posters and pictures of historic Greeneville. Whether you choose big, fluffy biscuits for breakfast or a handmade burger for lunch, you can't go wrong! Be sure to bring cash.
We decided to try the Burger Shack, looking for a great cheeseburger. We found that and more! The cheeseburger was perfect, and we loved the soup beans, cornbread, and outstanding onion rings. Our server was the sweetest, and the space was bright and open and full of friendly locals.
Good food, good portions, good service and good prices. The only negative is that it's really loud in there.
