This is the first time I have ever written a Google review, but we were so blessed with the service provided, I felt it was absolutely necessary. My wife and I were trying to make a sourdough starter with a particular flour that is quite finicky, and difficult to get going. There is a lot of information on the internet that can be contradictory when it comes to a starter, especially with a fussy type of flour. We failed on 6-7 attempts over a few months which was quite frustrating. Kaylyn took her valuable time to help us out, and give us recommendations on how to proceed. She is a wealth of knowledge and truly knows her trade. We now have a viable sourdough starter. Thanks Kaylyn!
Omg I love Bad Grandma Bakery!! Literally the best cake balls I've ever eaten!! Move over Starbucks with their cake pops! I've never had anything so soft and moist on the inside!! And the crispy frosting outside is perfect to bite into!! My favorite was the triple chocolate with chocolate frosting!! I need more lololol I've also had the sourdough bread and English muffins!! Way better than store-bought I'm never going back!!
The cupcakes we ordered for my daughter's birthday were absolutely gorgeous and delicious! Kaylyn was great to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend!!
Ordered my son's wedding cake from Bad Grandma's. It as AMAZING! tasted great, beautifully executed, exactly what we asked for an the communication throughout the process was steller. Pricing was great also. highly recommend.
I don't normally write reviews, but after my experience I was excited to share my story. It started by googling ‘bakeries near me’. I quickly found Bad Grandma’s Bakery, and was pleased this was so close to our home. I reached out to see if Kaylyn would take on a specialty order of cupcakes with a cute Highland cow theme for our daughter’s baby shower. We explained our vision and she accepted. From the start, she was very easy to work with- responded quickly, was delightfully and professional, detailed and informative, upfront and friendly. We picked up the cupcakes and were so impressed with the final product - 100% satisfied. They were adorable and exactly what we had hoped for. The cupcakes were well packaged, tasted great and received numerous compliments. We would definitely return to Bad Grandma’s Bakery for future events, and I comfortably recommend her. We were fortunate she was conveniently close to our home, but knowing what i know now - i would happily drive a distance.
Bad Grandma's Bakery is a fantastic neighborhood business but worth the drive in case you don't live nearby. Most items are made to order thru email phone or text at this time. So far, we have enjoyed the sourdough bread and the chocolate chip cookies reminiscent of Sweet Martha's at the Fair. Both compare favorably to our favorites. Delish !! Kaylyn is very friendly and fast. It is easy to order and pick up. We are looking forward to a specialty birthday cake later this month.
Great service and product! Ordered cake pops for my son’s graduation party and they were beautiful and delicious! I also sampled her freeze dried skittle candy, was skeptical, but it was surprisingly yummy! I am now recommending to all my friends and will absolutely be using Bad Grandma in the future!
I needed cupcakes for my husband's 50th birthday on short notice, Thanksgiving week. Kaylyn brought my vision to life on short notice & me being on a super tight budget. Bad Grandma's Bakery will be our bakery going forward. Couldn't have been happier.
