I have been coming here since I was a kid and the staff may have changed but the tortillas and barbacoa and carnitas and not to mention the pan dulce remains stellar...

I dont know what category cost goes to. It’s way too expensive for barbacoa and 2 liter sodas. Aside from that , service is excellent.

1.5 lbs of regular barbacoa (hardly any fat at all), 3 tamal borachos, two dozen corn tortillas and a 2 liter big red for 30 bucks. Not too bad. 6 of us are very well. Late morning pickup around 1030. I'm thinking that might not be such a bad time to go, not very many people there.

It's a San Bene institution. I grew up on barbacoa from here. Now I feed my family. Never disappoints

The best lengua barbacoa I've ever had & I've had many different kinds of bbq. Their baked goods are delish! They charge by the pound. They sell cachete, ojos, mixed, cárnicas, menudo, tamales, etc. Drive thru line is 40 cars long on Sundays but well worth the wait. It might be quicker if you go inside or go on a Saturday before 10am. They run out fast sometimes.
