Love the 'Chain Bar', great food, friendly staff, oh so Wisconsin atmosphere, comfortable booths and on top of it all very reasonable prices. Can't go wrong.
Great food, great service. Was extremely busy when we went. We didn't have to wait long for a table or for our food once we ordered. Food was delicious! Recommend the beer cheese dip for an appetizer. Beer battered fish fry was great, not to greasy and was hot when served. The Cajun walleye is excellent as well. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended to stop in for a bite if your in the area. Only complaint we have is the phone is in the dining room and was ringing constantly. Was very loud and annoying.
We had excellent service. The food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back. Whether you want a pizza a burger mac and cheese fish steak they have it all covered. Prices are very fair servers are excellent. And the wait for the food was very prompt. relaxing environment.
The burger was fantastic while the Pesto chicken was unbelievable! “Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time” There is plenty of seating both in and outdoors. Friendly staff, free soda refills and a full bar if you’re just looking to have a drink. Beautiful area with all the lakes, especially in fall with all the colors.
The website is HORRIBLY out of date. Past that, the service was excellent. I really liked the rueben and fresh chips.
Chain O' Lakes Bar and Grill has excellent food. The soup of the day was Cajun chowder. It had amazing flavor. We had the Cheese Beer Dip and pita chips which was great. We had the BLT and the Green Olive Burger with a loaded baked potato. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive to our needs.
We arrived on a Friday night 8/1 with a very large group of family. The staff worked hard to accommodate us and we enjoyed our evening. Our server did the best she could with such a large group and separate checks. Kudos to her.
My family just came up to the area and it's definitely off season. Most things were closed so we chose to come here. I was SO glad it happened that way. I have 3 picky eaters, and they all were saying how good the food was - guacamole burger, kids nuggets and kids hamburger. My mom got walleye and said it was fantastic. Hubby got the Cajun burger and said it was spicy and delicious. I got the prime rib burger. It was a steak on a bun with 2 onion rings and it was perfection. Steak cooked to perfection, perfectly easy to chew and so delicious. It had no sauce or anything extra but it didn't need anything else. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely eat here.
