On our way back to Milwaukee from lake Geneva we decided to take a break and since we were in the middle of no where we stopped. At the only place around so that’s how we found ourselves at the Irish cottage 2, the staff was friendly and the food arrived retry fast, I ordered a hamburger and it hit the spot perfectly, I wouldn’t hesitate to order a hamburger the next time we visit, Stacy ordered the fish plate and the fish was crisp and crunchy and wonderful so I stole one of her fish pieces, yes we will go back again and maybe we can go on a Friday for their fish fry
A neat place with a wide variety of choices. We really enjoyed the Ribeye steak sandwich and the Reuben Rolls. The steak sandwich had a ton of mushrooms and fried onions. The bun was very crispy and delicious. The Reuben rolls were gigantic and very crispy. The staff was friendly, and it looks like a popular local watering hole. We decided to try it because we saw another review that mentioned it. It definitely was worth the drive. We will absolutely give it another go on the near future.
Love the atmosphere, the food was great and quite the variety. Prices are reasonable. Surprisingly it wasn't busy.
Very nice pub & grill. Our server was very friendly and patient, answering our questions and bringing us our requests. My other group members had the taco special. They are HUGE. Definitely worth the price. They all enjoyed very much. I opted for the Reuben Rolls and the IC2 Burger. Good size burger and cooked perfectly to order, though the fries were overly salted. The Reuben Rolls are absolutely delicious. Think egg rolls with the filling as the contents of a Reuben sandwich, but with the 1000 Island as the dipping sauce on the side. YUM! Unfortunately, I dove in without taking my picture first so this is what I ended up taking home. I was also spying on the next table and was immersed in the aroma and appearance of the pizza they had. So I ordered one to go. Super thin crust the way I like. Tasty toppings. Of course I had to try one piece freshly cooked. Having some for lunch today and the rest for lunch tomorrow. Fun, vibrant atmosphere. Friendly staff and customers. Great neighborhood place for a bite to eat, hang at the bar, watch the game. Enjoy.
Wednesday nights is Mexican night and oh my gosh. Food is outstanding. Been there other nights and the food is great. Great people and great drinks. Wednesday you will find us there.
The beer battered fish was awesome & moist! The baked cod was moist at first bite but chewy & dry unfortunately, I was debating between the salmon &
Fun time on a beautiful day outdoors. Live music from a great band with an outdoor bar set-up, grilled food, tent, car show, and great people. The staff was friendly and attentive both inside and out. Hats off to all!
Perfect little spot to drop in for a delicious lunch. At least that's what I did. Nice big bar and a really good Reuben sandwich
