Rode 100 miles for the famous pork tenderloin “sandwich”! The food was excellent and service definitely small town friendly. Got there just after they opened on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded so the locals know where to go!
Amazing small town bar. Five or 6 people came in to pick up food to go that must have worked close bye. Had the pork tenderloin and onion rings. The sandwich was fresh and hot. It needed just a bit of seasoning. This is the type of place where you can make friends fast. Stacy was very great behind the bar and waiting on tables at the same time. I am going to try the burger next time. Fresh, homemade food. Nothing fancy. They place is CLEAN inside.
We came here just for the tenderloin, but we loved it for everything else too! Cute bar, great seating, the food was DELICIOUS. Fast service, even though they were very busy(band outside and a ton of people). Servers were very friendly and there were a lot of them! Just a fun place to visit, eat and hear music. We will be back!
You must try there Amazing Huge Tenderlions! They are sooo good they are bigger than a dinner plate and Absolutely Scrumptious along with the Huge order of French Fries makes for a great meal & will not disappoint. Our family would all go there to Celebrate our Birthdays & The food is Amazing and the Staff & Atmosphere is so Awsome!
Family outing. Had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and pasta. Alot of food for the price. Great server, very nice. Very popular place. Food is not that seasoned, but still good. Had a good time.
Visited on our way home from Streator because we saw them listed on a Pork Tenderloin Facebook group. While the size of the tenderloin didn't disappoint, unfortunately the flavor was lacking. If you like a really crunchy plain panko breaded crust then this is for you. The tenderloin is pounded super flat so there isn't much meat to each bite. The bar is quaint in a very small town. The bartender was very good and knew all the regulars by name and what they wanted to order.
You may likely have to have a conversation with Jesus to get through this thing, but my Lord was it GOOD!!! GREAT PLACE!
This is the best burger for the price ANYWHERE! It has to be nearly a 3/4 pound burger. We had the special that day which was a burger with bacon, onion rings, Gouda cheese and bourbon bbq sauce! Came with fries and it was still under $7! C'mon that's unreal. The other giant burgers were even less. Do they charge outrageous prices for beer? Nope! Get a 16oz Hamm's for $2, an Old Milwaukee for $1.50 or even a Stroh's for $2. Worth the trip to the tiny town of Leonore. They even have a giant pavilion across the street for summer activities, bands and groups of motorcycle riders passing through. I will absolutely go back.
