I've been going here since I was a kid with my grandparents. Hands down my FAVORITE restaurant. It's probably just my own experience but the atmosphere is very nostalgic and I've never found Chinese food that even comes close to being as good as their chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. It's so good Service can be kinda rude sometimes but still so worth it. I prefer their indoor seating rather than take out. It's just a better experience and they serve you this amazing black tea in these cute cups. Unfortunately I only have pictures of takeout. Sorry. Highly recommend. Go try the chicken fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken!
Hes always good to me Been going there since 2013 when I bought my house in lockport. He Makes a good mai tai and another cocktail the dragon or something its called . Worth trying if your waiting at the bar for your carry out.beef lo mein mandarin style is my go to.my wife gets the chicken kow The sechaun beef extra spicy is also a good choice. I think mondays their food is better.they must have a different chef that day.
I have been going here for more than 2 decades now, such an amazing spot! I had plans changed last minute on New Years Eve, I called and placed a big order which was ready on time! In general this spot is amazing & the food is authentic and delicious! Highly recommended.
I really enjoy coming here for lunch or dinner. The music is never too loud where you can carry on a good conversation, always a very good amount of food and the price is extremely affordable. It is without a doubt one of the best Chinese restaurants in all of the state. I can't think of anyplace where you can get 2 full meals including soup, egg rolls, fried rice, 2 glasses of wine, and a dozen almond cookies for under $40
Carry out customer several times and can't be happier with the choices made each time. General TSOs, Beef Lo Mei, Kung Pao Chicken, and Spring rolls were all great on my last pickup. Will be diving deeper into the menu just because these were delicious.
I took my mom out here last Saturday afternoon for lunch . This is the first time that we dinned inside. We usually pick up carryout. So we decided to try dining and instead. I must say that he food at the Dragon Light restaurant, has never disappointed! The owners, and the staff, and the service is always excellent and very friendly. We ordered the Shrimp lo mein, an order of egg rolls, and The Singapore noodles all of the dishes were very tasty and delicious! Five stars for the Dragon Light restaurant!!! I Love my Chinese and we will definitely be back!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food came out fresh and delicious. I shared the Singapore noodles with my wife, excellent... The soup was outstanding too (wonton & egg drop). We also had dinner rolls, which I wouldn't have expected much of from a Chinese restaurant, but they were also very good and taught me that the restaurant uses probably a special fire grilling oven to heat a lot of their food. I noticed it in the noodles as well. Don't quote me, but I feel like they are adding a light Smokey flavor to their food somewhat. Tasted great! Almond cookies came with the check, definitely worth the price. We had leftovers to go home with @ $20.
The food and restaurant were absolutely top-notch! Everything from the commentary tea to the fortune cookie was just delicious! Of course, I had no idea the dumplings were so big, so I had a lot to take home and would not go to waist, trust me!
