Awesome atmosphere with good good after a long day exploring Milford sounds. Everything we ordered was delicious and at decent price.
We sat in a little raised room with two very armchairs and had a glass of wine and some curly fries. It could have been the confessional. Great service great atmosphere and the fries were just what was needed on a cold day.
We had dinner here 10/2/2026. Bit of a line up to get to the bar / find out where our table was. We had been advised to book, which I did the day before. My wife & I each had ribeye steak which were very nice. Before the mains, we shared sweet potato fries, also very nice. The service was good, the owner is a friendly bloke. If we are ever back in Manapouri, I'll be sure to book a table and dine here again.
Stopped in for a quick pint after a walk and a swim. Under $10 for a pint of Monteiths Black in a prime tourist spot. Amazing. Sat out on the upstairs deck and enjoyed the view. Bliss!
Amazing food! Lovely atmosphere! Would highly recommend. The blue cod was great
Didn't try any of the food, but the quaint bar and service was great, loads of varied beers and spirits, and lovely views from the balcony.
The food, customer service and view all excellent. The blue cod was so delicious we ordered another plate. Ate both without taking a picture it seems. Really enjoyed it all.
We visited on a Sunday evening after a day of hiking, looking to have dinner. The Church Manapouri offered a very nice and welcoming ambience, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately they only offered snacks at that time (which were very tasty nevertheless!).
