First of all, let me just start off saying that our bartender Danielle was wonderful first thing in the morning at 9 AM. The welcome she gave us was so inviting that my drink was that much better. The bar was clean and nice. She was attentive to not only us but the other patrons as well. Thank you for a great morning drink. Danielle made our day
You will not find service like we experienced in another airport! So incredibly professional. She stayed focused on the whole seating area and did not miss a beat! Maintained composure the entire time we were there( 4-hour layover ). Courteous, charming, always looking for a client needing something. I do not experience this level of service at a 5-star restaurant. She could/should teach what she does and how she does it! By the way the expert I'm referring to is Danielle. Danielle was BOMB! The other ladies were nice and cool as well but she definitely set the tone. My long islands were bomb and she made my layover/overnight amazing. Customer service was bomb, friendly, and polite. Would definitely recommend. You rock Danielle!
We stopped into this bar and grill because it was the only one not busy. To our delight it was fantastic and I consider it to be a hidden gem! Danielle was the only server at the bar, only her. She got drinks, food, refill and served everyone there with great customer service and quick, quality service. Again hidden gem! We had a couple drinks and the turkey club with chips. It was delicious! So I plan to stop in again while I travel through the next time!
Beer is cold.. Danielle is good at her job.. not overly talkative, but checked on me to make sure everything was good
It was good, the appetizer was of a good size. Recommended. One small complaint, they bar tenders completely ignores us, didn't welcome us, or had any interaction with us, maybe a hello, how is your food, safe travels would have been fine. Small talk. Thanks.
My last airport layover was a great experience at the 40/40. The good bar crew, Maggie and Porscha, hit us up well with chatter and drinks. The chicken street tacos were fresh and tasty, and my bar buddy liked the empanadas. Maggie suggested Red Hot Sauce as a food spicer and it worked well. I got filled up and headed to my flight a very happy satisfied 40/40 patron.
Concourse D just got an upgrade. 40/40 Bar isn’t “good for an airport” it’s just good. Randy, Patia & Mimi turned a layover into a legit lounge vibe: fast service, balanced drinks, fresh food. A hidden gem at ATL.
