I found out that Tuesdays are open mic night and it was such a pleasure to play music with some amazing talent. I've never experienced anything like that in Los Angeles and the people there are so friendly and kind. If you play music and you're in the area I would definitely recommend Donna's ice house.
My local watering hole. I love this place. It is within golf cart distance. The bartenders are friendly. Don't expect a chocolate expresso martini at this place but they have Blue Moon on draft, my favorite, and all the typical American beers in bottles and liquour. I would recommend the banana pudding shots! Friday nights they serve a meal beyond bar food. The crab cakes are only served once every 2-3 months but the best I have ever had!

Locally legendary, really caters to a broad spectrum of local musicians! This place has personality and edge. The space is small and would be a issue for most businesses but Donna's makes it magically work and that's why it's a iconic part of local tradition!

One of the last of the real local hangouts, price is right and the staff is always great , you can still talk to Ms.Donna , play a game of pool, eat some real good food with great prices, while enjoying some great music!$ I saw Shamans Harvest play there right before they blew up into a worldwide sensation. I feel at home here. Lisa, Tina, Melinda, and Kelsey are the greatest bartenders ever. Cheap amazing drinks, cheap amazing food. Feels so welcoming and so homey here.
Always fun! A local neighborhood bar, it has the typical mid-day crowd that gains ground on weekends, and it is the older retired crowd that early in the day.
