King Sportsman

I play in a band. We play the Barberton concert series. I've been to this place with my handmates a couple times. I love it. We have a great time every time we go there. Just a great little dive with real people and everyone is cool as hell. Will definitely be back every time we're in town.

Brittney, the bar maid on Monday nights is the bestest of the best. Thank you for letting me play the tunes. Edit: Still a awesome bartender.

I like this lil hole in the wall place... always a good time with good people. Barbie is AMAZING!! LOVE HER! She's a great barmaid with a wonderful personality. Drinks are reasonably priced. Patio is wonderful.

Stopped into the King Sportsman to kill a little bit of time. I had stopped by a house nearby and was waiting on this seemingly homeless guy to reset a laptop he was selling. Never got the laptop. I did manage to walk into the King Sportsman and caught an ICE COLD domestic beer in a can. No keg system which was unfortunate. Outside i didnt know what to expect, seemed like any other dive bar and it was a NICE dive bar. The inside was clean, lady behind the bar was friendly and the beer was so refreshing. For only $2 plus tip of course i managed to sit down and sip on an ice cole Miller Lite Draft in peace. Seats at the bar were full of local one could assume and for good reason. Everyone was friendly or they minded to themselves. Who can ask for more. Inside was clean and quaint. This was accompanied by a clean good size outdoor area. It was hot so everyone was enjoying the AC indoors. King Sportsman is a the shiny Gem in a seemingly dismal part of town. Stop in, grab a cold one and enjoy some peace away from home. Y'all aint doing nothing anyhow if you read all this. Help the local economy by visiting this neighborhood bar. Seriously you got nothing else going on so get a beer and tip the staff.

Such a nice cozy bar. I usually go there just to play pool and to have a couple drinks. You meet good, honest people​ there. The barmaids are sweethearts. They serve you very quickly and make sure you are taken care of. I love this bar!

Great barmaids, -Love Barbie and Katie- decent prices. I'd say lower (prices) than most bars around it.. They keep their Fireball COLD which is super important to anyone that drinks it.. They have a patio out back where you can enjoy drinks while you smoke.. The ceilings in this place are amazingly low and I don't think they serve food, which has always been what steered me away from going in often but they do have a wide variety of snacks to munch on.. So, other than the uncomfortably low ceilings (and I'm not a tall person), it's a good little neighborhood bar.
