In town visiting and family members took us here! Great lil corner diner with exceptional service. Robyn was the greatest waitress and made us feel so welcome - not to mention the food was delicious. The house potatoes were so crispy, the eggs were fresh, and the bacon was so crispy. Definitely recommend this place for a delightful bite.

I've lived in Orangevale for almost 3 years now I have driven by this place on the regular but today my grip and I decided to give it a try and let me tell you, we have been missing out! I'm huge on customer service and atmosphere of a food spot and this one took the cake! Service 10/10, food 11/10 and atmosphere was a platinum 15/10! Walking into the building it's a nice open room nice open room with a blend of dark and white colors spacing between the tables and the smell is heavenly! Our waitress Robin was absolutely a doll! Not 1 minute went by that I needed something and she didn't pop up with a smile and good energy. This is absolutely a gem of orangevale and I WILL be returning. My girl got the H.O.T.G eggs Benedict and I got the loaded breakfast burrito, all of it was perfect! I can't stress enough that if u haven't eaten here you are missing out!

Trying all the restaurants near my new home, as breakfast is my favorite meal, I was delighted to see this place so close by! As Denny's just closed across the street, we were afraid it would be packed, so very surprised to see most tables available! One look at the menu told me why... prices still very high. As food prices are finally coming down, and getting more affordable, I was surprised, but thought, as long as we're here, I'll try it. When I found out coffee was $4.50 tho, I said "not at that price" and ordered water, then 2 eggs, pancake & bacon combo, $16.+. My son ordered hamburger and fries, $18.+. Happy to say, the pancakes were so large, I took one home, and his fry order was enough for 3 people, so we ended up getting a box to go. The servers were friendly, food plentiful and very tasty, We were pleased with our meal, but will probably check the menu before sitting down next time. FYI: IHOP just advertised the same breakfast meal for $7. Please, lower your prices a little, a cup of coffee should never be over $3. Please, If you do, you may find us waiting in line to get in next time!

We came on a Sunday and there was a little wait, about 15 minutes. Kristi greeted us and got us coffee pretty quickly. Kristi was very friendly and ready for clarifications and suggestions. We picked the biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. The food came out quicker than we expected on a busy Sunday. The corned beef hash was delicious. It was juicy and seasoned well. My wife thought the biscuits were good but the gravy was a little under seasoned. The eggs were spot on. The fruit option was persimmons or pomegranate which was a welcome change from the melon heroes and berries everyone else offers. Outstanding service and the food was better than most of the breakfast places in the area. We'll be back. We've come back twice since and all three servers were excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place as we hadn't planned on eating here. But, after a quick trip to the library we decided to stop in and get brunch. Shared a biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and it was great! Husband had a small omelette with fruit and an English Muffin. Service was terrific and the food came out very fast. All was great and we agreed we would return.

This place had been on my list for a while, and my husband and I finally got to try it last Saturday. We usually order a lot to sample different dishes and take leftovers for a late lunch or early dinner, but this time, we decided to keep it simple and stick to the classics. We ordered the waffle plate, chicken fried steak XL (substituting French toast for the pancakes—it does cost extra), and a side of onion rings. Everything was delicious, and the portions were pretty generous! The onion rings were super crispy. The waffle was moist but not soggy, just perfectly fluffy and tasty, and the French toast was really good, too. The fried steak was flavorful, though I wish there had been a little more gravy since it was an XL portion. The two pieces were stacked, and the bottom one didn’t get much gravy. Service was friendly and efficient. The lady who helped us was quick, warm, and welcoming. In fact, every server there seemed really friendly! We are definitely coming back to try more from the menu.

My daughter and I stopped for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. We were so impressed with not only the sweet waitress, but the food was excellent and fresh. The potatoes were even healthy (red and use olive oil). Coffee was excellent too. We will become regulars! Highly recommend!

The food and the service here are excellent! The biscuits and the gravy are both homemade and wonderful. My Mom got an omelette. Probably had California in the name because it had veggies and avocados. She loved it. The waitress (I wish I caught her name!) was friendly and attentive. Very happy with it all and would recommend this place to anyone for breakfast. I'll have to come back for lunch sometime and try that as well!
