the chilli prawn pizza was absolutely smashing. I even told the chef it was the best I'd eaten outside of Italy! The crust was crispy, the toppings just right and the flavours blended beautifully. Simply wonderful! My only regret is that I probably won't have it again as I'm in Sydney.

Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. We had multiple guests ask us where we found our caterer specifically because of those potatoes. They were the perfect comfort food touch that made our reception feel both elegant and warmly welcoming. The King River Cafe team was attentive, efficient, and genuinely seemed to care about making our day special. They worked seamlessly with our venue and were incredibly accommodating with our dietary requirements and last-minute guest count changes. King River Café is an absolute gem. The place is spotless, the food is genuinely amazing, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly — proper top-tier customer service. I’m from the UK and first visited in 2024. It was so good that when I came back to Australia just before Christmas, I made a point of returning. Same great experience, same fantastic food, same welcoming vibe.

Good size portion of the meal and the sauce to the beef brisket was delicious. The staff were friendly. Nice stop on the road trip.

The food is delicious. We ordered pork belly, gnocchi and couple of desserts. Pork belly wasn’t too fatty and the skin was perfectly crispy. Gnocchi was well made. Dessert was incredible!! We’re always looking for great desserts to finish our meal. Their lemon tart is the best we’ve ever had. Great portion and great price. Very friendly staff and clean environment. We’ll definitely come back and recommend to everyone one who enjoys good food.

Called in for a sanga, however they are not on offer so thought I'd risk a fillet steak. Wow, actually cooked exactly how I asked and accompanied by simple yet superb "normal" vegetables that were not boiled to within an inch of their life. No dearer that any pub meal and great service and nice outside area to eat if you wish.

OMG. WOW. Thank you Ben, Judy and Bomber, you guys rock. This place is an absolute must if you love good food, great people and quality wine. The service was spot on, and included the kids we had with us. Stunning building, such a great experience. Get the Rosti (King River Potato), no actually get 2. They are the bomb.
