This was hands down the most authentic Cuban food I’ve had since moving from Miami—and that’s saying a lot. I ordered the picadillo with white rice and black beans, and from the first bite, I was taken right back home. The flavors were rich, comforting, and exactly what Cuban food should be. What really stood out was how the aroma filled the office. Everyone kept asking, “What is that amazing smell?” They were surprised to hear that there’s Cuban food this good right in the area—many didn’t even know it existed. Needless to say, I’ll be spreading the word. In fact, several of my coworkers are already planning to come back with me. When food sparks that kind of conversation and excitement, you know you’ve found a gem. I’m looking forward to trying more from the menu—and maybe introducing a few more folks to their new favorite lunch spot.

My all-time favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming here my whole life and have never had a bad meal — not once. Everything is consistently excellent, and the care shows in every dish. My grandmother, who lived in Cuba for many years, loved eating here, and it’s been a family favorite ever since. I’ve been to their other locations, but this one on Military is the one I keep coming back to. It’s the best. Period. Please visit and give this amazing place the love it deserves.

We've been coming here for around 15 years. Food is always well prepared and very tasty. Tonight I had the grilled chicken breast with onions. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. My wife had one of the pork meals and was humming over it. Also had the empanadas appetizer which was yummy.Really like the chance to come here for a good meal. Service staff are typically quick and friendly. Looking forward to stopping back in the future.

Went for dinner. Service was quick and friendly. The food came out as it was ordered. Everything came out hot & delicious; as expected. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable regarding the dinner selection. One thing I’d like to note is the flan. This is how flan is supposed to be. If you notice in the flan picture the inside is smooth and not filled with bubbles. That right there is proper flan. I recommend that is place to my friends and family. Thank you for reading. Since 1989, when my former boss (A dissident Cuban attorney who did not enjoy Fidel Castro's favor - need I say more as to how he ended up in South Florida?) first introduced me to the Don Ramon Cuban Cuisine restaurant on South Military Trail in West Palm Beach, I've been a fan! I'm from Miami originally, and so have enjoyed Cuban food my entire life. And I can confirm that you'll have to go to Miami - or Havana - to find an equivalent of the authentic food and excellent service that you'll experience at Don Ramon! The restaurant offers traditional favorites, including; Ropa Vieja (shredded meat cooked in tomato based sauce); Boliche (pot roasted in its natural jjuices and topped with the chef’s special gravy; and my favorite, Vaca Frita (USDA Choice blade meat shredded and cooked in a house-made tomato sauce with onions, and garlic).
