This Vietnamese restaurant is quite unique because it doesn’t just focus on traditional dishes — it actually specializes in Vietnamese-style desserts while also offering a good selection of hot savory dishes. It’s a combination you don’t see often, and it certainly makes the place stand out. We ordered a mix of their signature items: deep-fried frog, stir-fried beef with vegetables on thick rice noodles, mango sticky rice, and a coconut milk dessert. The savory dishes were flavourful and prepared well — the frog was crispy and tender, and the beef stir-fry had a nice wok aroma with the noodles soaking up all the sauce. The desserts, which seem to be the highlight of this restaurant, were excellent. The mango sticky rice was fragrant and indulgent, and the coconut dessert was refreshing, properly sweetened, and very enjoyable. Considering the quality and the uniqueness of their menu, the prices were reasonable, making it feel like good value for money. Given the consistently long queues outside, it’s clear that many others think so too. The restaurant is extremely popular, so be prepared to wait during peak hours. Overall, this place offers specialty Vietnamese desserts paired with tasty hot dishes, creating a fun and memorable dining experience. We will definitely return to try more from their menu.

Tina Cake Desserts is a great late-night dessert spot. I haven’t tried the cakes yet, but the desserts are very good - everything tastes fresh, with real fruit used across the menu instead of syrups or canned toppings. Portions are satisfying without being too heavy, and the fact that they’re open late makes it an easy go-to for post-dinner or late-night cravings.

We had mango sticky rice and young coconut jelly. Both are pretty good. Mango is sweet. I like them open late night till 2am and good for savoury and sweet. I bought salty egg sponge cake home for next day. The cake is still very soft after fridge a day. Too many choices make it very difficult to make decision. Better to share with friends to try variety.

Cash and debit only. The durian sticky rice and the grilled flan is SO good! I’m still thinking about them after going home. I can see why this place is popular and has long lines. Pleasantly surprised that they have a very big selection of food items and not just dessert. Smells very good and looks yummy, as well as having big portions. Looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Great little Vietnamese dessert spot, definitely lives up to the buzz. We were a group of 5 and shared three items (portions are really generous!): • Tripe-Kill Durian on Sticky Rice: the absolute highlight. Loads of fragrant, real durian on sweet coconut sticky rice — rich but perfectly balanced, not too sweet. • Thai Mixed Jelly Balls Dessert with Durian in Coconut Milk: super refreshing with lots of different textures and a gentle durian flavour. Everyone loved it. • Cream Cheese Custard Coated Coffee Jelly: unique and delicious. Firm, bouncy coffee jelly with strong coffee aroma and a light cream-cheese coating that adds richness without being heavy. The place was packed all night (open until 2 am), but the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to refill water. Highly recommend for late-night Vietnamese sweets in Vancouver — we’ll definitely be back!

I love this restaurant, as it’s very well known as one of the go to Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver. Tofu Pudding with Grass Jelly in Coconut Milk: I had a lot of fun with this dessert. This dessert deserves the high praise of “not too sweet”. There’s enough fun and just sweet enough ingredients to compliment the subtle tofu base. I also believe this dessert deserves the high compliment, “not too heavy”. Tina Special Black Sticky Rice Yogurt: This is really yummy and it’s a nice touch mixing in the black sticky rice. I am not very familiar with that ingredient so I felt it was a nice additional to the dish. I will also note that this dish is essentially a giant fruit parfait with so much fruit mixed in with the yogurt. This dessert is extremely heavy and filling, so I’d recommend 2-3 people to tackle this dessert.

I’ve been here many times, as I stay close by. The place is often packed at night. They can make vegetarian noodle soup upon request, and service is very friendly. I’ve also taken out treats from the counter to try at home. Their food is always delicious! Pictured: Gui Lin Gao with fruits, mango sticky (purple) rice, and chocolate brownie + ice-cream. Also highly recommend their tasty yoghurt drinks, and soursop!
