Menami Udon & Izakaya

Overall, this place has some delicious noodles! While the food is good, the service is lacking. I’d recommend the shrimp pasta and the potato cream curry. The pasta is refreshing and flavorful, and the potato cream curry is unique and tasty. However, only having three shrimp made it feel a bit incomplete. The mentaiko udon and kinoko shoyu pasta are decent, too. The service really brings the experience down. Every time I’ve come, the staff often seem distracted, sometimes on their phones, and not very attentive. For the price, I expected a bit more effort. The food is solid, but the service keeps the overall experience from being a 5-star. • Also the pickles suck. • They did pay me in a delicious crème brûlée to write this

The food was good and the portions were big. We got the wafu-style pasta, curry udon, tonkatsu, and takoyaki. Lunchtime is probably less busy than nighttime. There was one main server, who was friendly and attentive. The place is decently sized (especially given that eateries in the area are not too spacious). Parking is street parking and can get busy.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant. The service is really fast and attentive. The food quality and flavour is pretty good, I'd rate it 4/5. The restaurant is small and quaint, so the tables will fill up fast. I'd recommend reserving your table. The atmosphere is similar to a bar setting. It's good, but it can be super loud in here. If you don't mind that type of vibe, then it's a fun experience. But honestly, it's hard to have a conversation without yelling at each other lol. Overall, it was a good experience though, it's super chill.

Excellent food, great little restaurant that's quite busy. I love love love their spicy cream seafood udon, the noodles are perfect texture and the sauce is delicious. They let me ask to make it a bit less spicy, too! The corn kakiage with dipping sauce is always great, and the takoyaki today was just right.

Just had an incredible dining experience at!! We ordered 5 different tapas dishes, and honestly, every single one was a hit; it’s very rare. From the flavors to the presentation, everything was spot on. Each dish felt authentic, freshly made, and packed with rich, balanced flavours. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere had the perfect cozy vibe — not too loud, just right for enjoying great food. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’m already thinking about what to try next. Highly recommended! FYI!! For big groups I would recommend to make reservations.

stopped by on a sunday night with two other friends & ordered the spicy cream seafood udon (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! as a girlie that can’t handle spice too well, the flavour was mild and so so delicious!) super intimate w/ atmospheric lighting, seems like it would be great date spot!

I tried the Potato Cream Curry Udon and absolutely loved it! The broth was rich, creamy, and flavorful with just the right amount of spice to give it a little kick. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the portion was very generous. It’s such a comforting dish and definitely one I’d come back for. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend MeNami Udon & Izakaya if you’re craving delicious, hearty udon!
