Asian Wok 'n' Roll

Went for lunch with a buddy. He said he knew a really good local spot. I had the General Taos but with fish. Crispy and fresh!!! Loved itttt. Super bang for your buck type of joint

We’ve been dining at Asian Wok ‘n’ Roll for almost 20 years - when the Derry and Airport location closed a few years ago, we were relieved to discover the Millcreek one. The food is equally delicious here, with huge portions and consistently high quality. We’ve tried Hakka food all over the GTA, including the really famous spots in Scarborough - but we always come back here because this is best we’ve found. The restaurant is clean and peaceful, and the service is always lovely. Highly recommend for dine-in or takeout.

The food tastes great. I especially love the Hot & sour soup. Server seems a bit inexperienced and the cashier rush you the bill. The restaurant is nice and comfortable with tables set pretty with glass cups and metal forks. But no spoon and chopsticks.

The food is served quicky the portions are large. We are never disappointed by the taste of the food here. It has the best chicken lollipop in Mississauga.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was amazing especially hot and sour soup and chilli chicken. The service was fast, staff was very welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Great portions for the price too. Will definitely be coming back again and again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Amazing hakka place in mississauga. One ofthe best hakka Chinese restaurant in mississauga! The food is always fresh,flavourful and perfectly spoced. The chilli chicken, hakka noodles and crispy beef are absolute must tries. Full taste and generous in portion size. Service is quick and friendly,whether you’re dining in or takeout. The restaurant has a nice clean and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for family dinners.

Vibe/Atmosphere was nice, I went after sunset and it has a classic feel and everything is in place and matches the aesthetic. Service was extremely fast! We went to pray at the salah room in the back (Yes they have a prayer room too!) and within a few minutes our food was both hot and ready. The server was also very kind and joked around with us while also helping us out with deciding the right dish. Cost wise this place had sensible pricing for a nice dine in restaurant. Nothing was too expensive and everything made sense. And now for the main part, the taste. We ordered the General Tao’s Chicken (Gravy) and Sesame beef (without gravy) and the regular chicken fried rice. the General Tao’s Chicken was DELICIOUS, it had SO MUCH of the RIGHT flavour! A lot of places struggle with making general tao the perfect flavour but this place has it locked down, it’s amazing. The sesame beef was also very good! I would simply request they could add a gravy option for it because the taste was actually delicious and having gravy for it might just make it all the more enjoyable. Lastly the chicken fried rice was good too! Some places make their chicken fried rice flavourless, and simply just add egg and chicken to almost plain rice, but here at AWR it was quite tasty it had a tasty flavour and the chicken inside was also made perfectly alongside the egg. Would highly recommend 10/10 and DEFINITELY will come back! Everything is Halal, and prayer room just made the place even better
