Extremely friend staff. Family ran business. The food is reasonably priced and the tables and building was very clean. Will be returning to try more of the delicious menu.
I don't eat out a lot, and while Oriental Gourmet is mostly a take-out place, it is the best Chinese place in Auburn, possibly Indiana, maybe the world. Oriental Gourmet is the most delicious Chinese food I have ever had. Cooked perfect, well seasoned, everything is just spot on. The atmosphere is very cool, and you can tell there is passion in the food and establishment. 100% satisfied, would recommend!
Pictured is the lunch serving of General Tso Chicken. The staff is always extremely friendly. We've been a fan of this restaurant over the years. I feel like they've done some adjustments to their recipes, and today it was simply amazing. The chicken was more finely cut, with a perfect crunch. It reminded me of Wu's Fine Chinese in Fort Wayne (side note-more of upscale Chinese place, also excellent). The atmosphere here is definitely wanting, but if you don't mind a rugged feel, then that doesn't really matter anyways. Very casual. They serve soda in cans, no fountain drinks.
Very welcoming and appreciated. The food was amazing. The lunch prices are very affordable. The storage area near the bathroom is the only complaint. It is kind of an eye sore. My family and I will definitely come back.

I’ve been going this place for years! Its consistent and the quality hits every time. The staff is always really friendly and attentive as soon as you come in and they always have my food ready when I get there. I support them over panda any day
It’s that perfect hole in the wall Chinese food and restaurant. Prices are great and the food is exactly what you’d want from this kind of restaurant, so in my opinion the food is fantastic
This little store is a great place for chinese. Ive several favorites but the General Tso's is my most favorite. The egg drop soup has gotten me through hard times... great place to go!!
