Wing Lee

Food was good. But.....different than what we are used to. We are accustomed to veggies with our protein choice. Not a Bad thing but it is not a place to enjoy a sit down meal. Just a storeroom with dinning tables. But for a Hole in the wall restaurant, it is a good place.

Update: I have ordered a second time and the prices have escalated from under $10 for a lunch combo on the phone to almost $30 when I went to make the payment. I paid for the already prepared meal and respectfully left what was not yet cooked. It's a shame because I genuinely enjoyed the food. --- First post: The food is outstanding, I have already placed another order.

***Edit - this review was supposed to be for Empire Chinese Kitchen in Portland, not Wing Lee*** Second time visiting. First time we had a large group (7) and did have to wait about an hour and a half. This time it was just two of us and we came early and were seated right away. Highly recommend the Duck Lo Mein, the bok choy, eggplant and bao buns. Everything we had both visits was fabulous. Great service. We will be back!

Enjoyed a delicious early supper. Best veggie fried rice, freshly made.

I'm picked up to go on the way to work for myself and my coworkers several times. Everything is just so yummy Not to mention that it's so big portions as well. Love it! Highly recommend Update my review; Kinda a little disappointed when my last order of stir fry Lo Mein had very little vegetables than my previous order Did not see any mushrooms in it.

First time here! Highly recommend for take out! Wait time reasonable, prices great & the portions were awesome. Wouldn't recommend sitting to eat there the space is too small & no waiting area for takeout.

Funky atmosphere but the food is excellent I never eat in only take out.

Stopped by here after work on Friday (Memorial Day weekend) around 3:30 and not really much happening. I placed my order and within 15 minutes it was ready as promised. I ordered D3, a combination plate (Egg Roll, Boneless Ribs, Wings, Chicken fingers and Fried Rice for $12.50). This is pretty much what I order every time I'm in the mood for Chinese food, regardless of what Chinese Restaurant I'm at. I also ordered Pork Chop Suey during this stop. The food is not bad, however, it failed to satisfy my cravings. It just did not have the taste (flavor) I was looking for. I guess my taste buds just got spoiled by Chinese Eatery Restaurant (OOB). Unfortunately this establishment closed, much to my (and many others) disappointment. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the food at Wing Lee, it's just a matter of personal taste and preference. This was not my first time here and I'm sure it will also not be the last.
