Sushi Taku Rotary STR at 935 W Webster Ave in Chicago offers a lively Japanese dining menu built around sushi, sashimi, creative rolls, ramen, poke bowls, appetizers, and cooked entrées. Fresh seafood, creamy avocado, crisp vegetables, seasoned rice, and punchy sauces create a satisfying balance of clean, rich, spicy, and crunchy flavors. Popular choices include the Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Shrimp Tempura Roll, while chef-selected sashimi platters provide a straightforward way to sample the kitchen’s seafood selection.

This was my first conveyor belt sushi experience, and it was fantastic! So many great options on the belt, plus more choices available through the table's digital pad. An all you can eat menu makes it easy to have your favorites while sampling a variety of other offerings. The interior offers roomy booths and creative overhead lighting, service is friendly and prompt, and the spacious interior makes it great for families.
First time being here and I gotta say, the sushi is incredible! I'm used to other sushi rotary restaurants having a pay-by-plate color system, and I really like that at here its an all you can eat for a set price. As someone who indulges on the special rolls I really liked this idea. Clean restaurant, fresh food and the service is great. I personally recommend the Yummy roll. you gotta give this place a try!
We’ve visited this place twice with my boyfriend. The first time, the service really impressed us — the staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to our requests. A few months later, we came back, but this time the experience wasn’t as good. Some of the servers seemed to ignore us when we asked for something, and they brought the check very quickly, even though we still had about an hour left from our reservation. It felt like they just wanted us to leave so they could seat other guests who were waiting for a table. As for the sushi — everything was delicious, the fish was fresh, and the presentation was nice. Overall, the food was great. We’d love to come back again, but only if the service improves a bit
Such a good place! The smoked salmon is to die for and sooooo buttery, yummy and fresh. All the other rolls were also absolutely delicious and made fresh. My wife and I did the AYCE and it was $36.99/pp. Worth it in my opinion especially for fresh fish. Would come back again.
We are regulars at sushi taku but have never been to rotary before and we loved it! Really nice how you have the option to order and to grab whatever looks good from the conveyor belt. Very clean and tasty food! Fish is always fresh and staff is so kind. Will be back for sure. BYOB is $10 a bottle which is a huge plus too.
truly so much fun, I'm usually not a fan of all you can eat places since it's usually lower quality food, but this place is an exception to that rule. Every item is delicious, and the experience of eating here is genuinely fun. I love the robot waiter and the revolving sushi, it made the eating experience really exciting
Great first experience at Sushi Taku! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Reservation is recommended! Great for any type of gathering.
Such a fun place! Pick your choice of many sushi plates going by on a conveyer belt or order from the menu on the iPad. Some orders are delivered by Shinkansen. Some by Kitty Robot. We had hot sake and lots of yummy rolls. Lots of dates and families.
