This is going to take a while... I came to Bob's for breakfast on a Sunday. My car broke down in the lot, stranding me 5 hours from home. I came back on Monday for another breakfast and to get my car sorted. I got two great meals and much, much more. In case you don't want to read this whole thing, I'll start with the breakfasts, which were perfect. Sunday was "The BIG One," three eggs, three bacon strips, three sausages, toast and home fries. I wasn't sure what I'd be able to eat the rest of the day, and I needed all the protein I could get. This menu item DELIVERED. (As it turns out, it would be all I ate that day, but that's another story...) When I went to leave on Sunday, the car would not start. Miriam (I believe that was her name) saw what I was going through and offered to let me use her own car to jump mine. WHO EVEN DOES THAT?!?!? Unfortunately the jump was unsuccessful so I had to leave the car there; I had to be at Jiminy Peak all day to work the Eastern States Cup Downhill Mountain Bike race. I returned on Monday morning, sitting at the same spot at the counter, and was waited on by Tawny (spelling - I think?), who immediately understood what was happening and was super supportive. I wasn't even really hungry because I was hours from home and didn't have a working car, food was the last thing on my mind. After I explained what was going on, another server, Mary (my wife's name, coincidentally) overheard and joined the conversation, offering names of local repair shops that might be able to help me. I started calling and shop after shop and each said sorry, no, they were overbooked and could not help me - all but one, North End Auto Service (go check out the awesome review I just left them, too.) Anyway, in the midst of all this, Mary asks me if I have AAA. Of course I don't, so she offers to use her own AAA account to have my car towed. WHO EVEN DOES THAT?!?!? She called AAA, arranged everything (Sayer's, go see the awesome review I left for them, too) and so, I ordered breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast. Something easy. It was terrific and just what I needed. The car was towed to North End, where it was fixed, and I was able to get home that evening. BOTTOM LINE - Miriam, Tawny and Mary ARE PRETTY AWESOME HUMAN BEINGS. They treated me like family. Helped me out when I needed it most. And yes, the restaurant is also fantastic. Since our mountain bike race series comes to Jiminy Peak twice every season, I know I'll be back for breakfast again next year, and I can't wait to see these folks again. THANK YOU ALL!

Recently went here after my hike for dinner , I got French toast homefries and Kielbasa, (even better that you can get breakfast at any time) everything was so good I’d come back just for the French toast. My server Tammy was so sweet felt like I was eating at home. Atmosphere was so homey and clean. Everything was perfect, will definitely be making the trip to stop again highly recommend

Great little breakfast place. Food was very good. Recommend the berry-berry pancakes, consisting of black berries, raspberries, strawberries & blueberries. Waite staff very attentive & will work either you to help you select a great dish. Seating is a little crowded; basic decor - nothing fancy. But you're there for the food, not the pictures on the walls. Handicapped parking & accessibility. Family friendly.

Fantastic breakfast! We are visiting the area, came here because of good Google reviews. We ordered the Sampler and The Big One. Bacon, eggs, pancakes were GREAT. And, finally; a cook who knows how to cook an egg over-medium! The French toast and sausage were decent, both a bit bland. Coffee was weak for our taste. Service was fantastic! Highly recommend this place!!

The staff at Bob’s was incredibly friendly, and service was extremely quick even for a walk in six-top! We all loved our food, from the home made soups to the sandwiches, everything was delicious. The heat was on the fritz so it was a bit chilly but the hospitality more than made up for it! 10/10 would recommend the coconut cream pie.

On my visit I was in a brunch mood so I had a grilled strawberry muffin and then picked up a Footlong hotdog. Both were great and full of flavor but as always, the Footlong hotdog was my favorite item to get while I'm in town. So, so good! If you're a hotdog fan, you can't go wrong. Love this diner, seating style, and the food served here. Absolutely will always stop in when I'm in town. <3

Very popular for breakfast, but plenty of seating - no wait. The menu was extensive. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious. The waitstaff was fast, friendly, and extremely helpful. Not many breakfast options around. Don’t miss Bob’s. We will come back for lunch or dinner when we visit the area again.
