The Works Grill

Finally got around to trying this place this past September after wandering around Old Orchard Mall and was actually quite pleased with the quality of food here. I've been to dozens of Chicago/Greek grills all around the Chicago area and this taste is definitely one of the better ones I've been to in my lifetime. The food overall is great but the Gyros are friggin' awesome! I've had Gyros from many many places and they absolutely rock here! Soft, moist and well seasoned; pretty much the melt in your mouth kind. Great food at fair prices and friendly service in a clean/sanitized dining area, I'd definitely come back here to support this local business. Wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Been a customer since 1978 when it opened. There have been a few changes in ownership over the last 10 years, but the food quality has come back to an excellent level again. Love the gyros. The meat, the bread and how it’s cooked, and the sauce are amazing. But their gyros are not the only food they serve. Make a trip . It’s worth it.

Excellent food, choices, service. Ordered Gyro and angel hair chicken noodle soup and a hot chocolate. Food came up almost instantly. Generous portion for gyro, is enough for 2 if you arent terribly hungry (extra pitas are 50 cents). Everyone working here is positive, happy and friendly. My new favorite place.

My parents had their wedding rehearsal dinner here in 1979. It was always a treat growing up when my Mom took us to meet my dad here for lunch during his lunch break from Zenith or after visiting the dentist in the back of the adjacent mall. I’ve never had a better gyro, and always make it a place to visit anytime I’m in town.

A hidden gem! I really liked the box it came in. Super convenient if you are someone that eats in their car. You got a really good portion of food for the size. Chicken was tender and juicy. Good fries. Would def return.

Modern look but still great food. Yes the Gyros is still fantastic. It's now modern and updated with online ordering and tap to pay! It's been a long time since the cash only days.

Good solid reliable Gyros sandwiches and plates. Nice thick Tzatziki sauce and tasty grilled meat. Good for dine-in, excellent for takeout with great packaging takeaway

Amazing food but more than that it's amazing service!! The lady that was in charge of customers with glasses was really good at running this. She was personal, really friendly and yoon care of us in the way customer service is supposed to be. The gyros and the pork kebob that I ordered turned out to be really good as well. The food was cooked properly. I want to try the pork gyros the next time
