After a beautiful day of canoeing finished it up with an Excellent dive bar in the middle of no where!!! The burgers & Philly cheese steak are great! Bring your dollars for the juke box! Waitress & the bartender were very hospitable! It was my husbands birthday & he thought it was a random but excellent day!!!

If you’re looking for lake life, this is it! Odd, friendly, no BS folk. We had CF chicken fingers w/FF and CF steak strips w/TT. The servings were HUGE! And the beer was ICE COLD!

What a find... we had the cheese burger basket... and a salad... the salad was too much... great food... and service... we weren't sure about being at the right place (signage) but they were very welcoming... want to return for a ribeye... see you soon

Good food. A great place to stop in and grab a beer or two and play some pool.

The best shrimp quesadilla I’ve had in my entire life. I would eat here once a week if I could, but unfortunately I live 4 hours away.

Authentic Southern Food & Hospitality at Its Best – A Hidden Gem Near Caddo Lake, TX If you’re visiting Caddo Lake and looking for the best catfish and Cajun shrimp in East Texas, don’t miss this hidden gem of a restaurant. Tucked inside what used to be an old house — honky tonk vibe — this down-home spot serves up some of the freshest, most flavorful Southern food you’ll ever taste. We ordered the fried catfish and Cajun shrimp, and both were absolutely outstanding. The catfish was light, crispy, and fresh — you could tell it was caught locally. The shrimp had just the right kick of Cajun seasoning, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. And the sweet tea? Classic Southern perfection. The service was just as impressive. Our waitress Claire was also the cook, and she made us feel right at home. Friendly, fast, and full of personality — the kind of service that makes a meal unforgettable. This place might look unassuming from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. It’s the real deal — authentic Southern cooking with soul, served with a smile. Whether you’re a local or just passing through on your way to Caddo Lake, this is one restaurant you have to try. Highly recommend for anyone searching for: • Best catfish near Caddo Lake • Local seafood restaurants in East Texas • Authentic Southern food with great service • Hidden gems in Caddo Lake, TX

They serve the best ribeye steak that you will ever have in your life. It's $33 and worth it!! They only serve their famous steaks on Friday nights starting at 6PM.
