Excellent burgers! We read the good reviews and hubby wanted to try it. Burgers are hand pressed and made to order, grilled buns. Single burger is plenty. I was surprised at how good they were. Friendly staff too. Our granddaughter enjoyed it too.

Let me tell you — Dexter’s Grill tastes like a family member made your food with love. This burger was crazy good and the fries were seasoned perfectly. No bland bites, no lag in flavor, nothing. And the customer service? On point. Places like this deserve all the glory and my business. Don’t hesitate — this is hands down the best burger in the area. The food is so good I literally started writing this review while I was still eating. 10/10, absolutely coming back.

I've driven past Dexter's many times but I didn't stop in until today. Once I finished my meal and got in my car, I wondered to myself why the hell I waited so long. I can't rave enough about the Baby Jay's Bacon Burger combo, which came with fries and my choice of drink - for $10.25. Let me tell you, this meal was well worth every penny. The burger was cooked while I waited, the toppings were fresh and plentiful, and I got a lot of hot, seasoned fries that paired perfectly with the burger. The place was clean, it wasn't loud inside, and there was just enough old school R&B playing to add to the experience. The gentleman who took my order and Dexter, the owner, were both very pleasant and welcoming. I'll go back again and try their chicken wings or their Wednesday-only soul food special. If you think you have to go to a bar to get a decent-tasting burger, you've thought wrong. Dexter's is the real deal.

I got the double dex cheeseburger and it’s almost too big to finish. I can barely fit my mouth around it. Definitely a great deal and good quality burger patties generous toppings 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I had been reading reviews about Dexter's on the Downriver and Friends Facebook page since the restaurant opened, but didn't make it in until last Thursday. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. My parents and I stopped in to have burgers and fries for lunch. They were as delicious as everyone had said. They were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The person who took our order was very kind and friendly. I wanted to ask him to be my friend. Cheeseburgers are my favorite, but I love wings, too, so I would like to come back and try those someday. Dexter's Grill is a great addition to the Downriver community.
