Good frozen custard. We always try to go after Cardinals game. We'll sized proportions for affordable prices. Lot has security and bright lights for anyone worried about area. We Always feel safe there. Lines were kinda long but move very fast. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes on busy days. Mostly wait time is a couple minutes. Staple of the community. Great cookies for toppings. Large cherries in sundaes. Lots of whipped cream. Get Some!!
Walk-up spot for some fantastic frozen custard. Large menu with lots of options to customize to your taste. The custard by itself was great. The mix-ins were overly generous. There was a line but it went quickly. Can see why this is a St Louis staple. I would buy it all the time if I lived in the area.
This Ted Drewes location is basically a smaller version of the Chippewa store. Same great frozen custard dishes, but scaled back both in size and hours. This location opens at 2 p.m. instead of 11 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Also, summer timing applies; open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Everything you’d want in a summertime treat. Mmmm… My favorite – the “Cardinal Sin”.
Perfect for a quick dessert. Lines can seem kinda long but it moves in a flash and you’ll have your custard in just a few mins. Parking could be an issue on really crowded days/times possibly but it really has a cool retro feel to the whole experience. Custard doesn’t feel as heavy as icecream either so you could go for seconds on a diff option if you have the appetite for it. Go for the Concrete option to see custard so thick you can turn it upside down without it falling out.
Thick, creamy, and legendary for a reason. If you’re in STL, this stop is a must!
Come by and take a look didn't buy anything it look nice. They were closed. The one on Chippewa on Google says they're open year-round but they're not. The Chippewa location look like a decent safe place but the one on Grand that look pretty dicey
There’s a reason they’ve been around for almost 100 years … they’re that good!! And there’s always a queue of locals who know this is the best frozen yoghurt in the Midwest. I make a point of coming here every time I’m in STL. You should too.
Try banana split here, it’s the best. Mind blowing ice creams. The best in St. Louis. The prices are unbelievable. They have maintained their quality ever since. I have known people visiting this place for decades now. The place isn’t very crowded usually.
