Friendly Indian Cuisine

The restaurant is in business for 5+ years, but it’s my first visit. The food was good, we had a Chai Tea, VERY tasty, better than those in London, UK, wasn’t as good. We also ordered Fish Pakora Kadhal chicken Will be back and recommended.

Friendly service. Helpful with the menu asking was not familiar with many of the dishes listed. The food was good but not what we expected. We are used to many layers of flavor and didn't experience that here. While the food was tasty, it wasn't flavorful. That being said, the portions are large! We ended up taking leftovers and had another filling meal the next day.

And yet again — back at it with another celebration! This time it was for a birthday, and it did not disappoint. We even got complimentary gulab jamun, which was such a sweet surprise (literally!). The feast was amazing — we had the special tandoori platter, chicken vindaloo, chicken bhuna, naan baskets, and shrimp biryani with raita. Washed it all down with a refreshing mango lassi. Everything was absolutely delicious!

The best thing is food is freshly made and very tasty. Best sting place for families. We visit from Toronto, staff is very friendly.

Visited Friendly Indian Cuisine in Peterborough last night for dinner and had a great experience. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and both the butter naan and garlic naan were fresh, soft, and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted authentic and comforting. The food quality really stood out, and it was a satisfying meal overall. Definitely a place I’d visit again if I’m craving good Indian food. Highly recommended!

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way and my god they did not disappoint! We ordered the veg pulao, Gobi pakora, roti and paneer tikka masala. We loved the pakora so much that we got another one. Everything was made fresh and tasted very homey. Won't think twice about coming back!

Editing to include a couple other visits: I've eaten here three times now and am thoroughly impressed. Everything is extremely tasty and fresh and always comes with a smile. This place is something special. I've had my share of Indian food but nothing better than this Original review: I've lived in the area for awhile now but only recently decided to try this place. Service was friendly and with a smile. Food was extremely flavourful, spice level was perfect. It was so good!! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu

Excellent Indian food. Great customer service. Just make sure you tell them how spicy hot you like it.
