Avanzare Italian Restaurant Paragould

Have driven by this place dozens of times. Wife and I decided to give it a try. Wow, we're we surprised, some of the best Brooklyn style pizza we've ever had! Taste of Italy was amazing. Chicken parm is deliciously tender and covered in hearty marinara and layers of mozzarella. Twisted fresh Italian bread was so soft and perfectly baked, served with butter and oil oil! House salad, looked like oak leafs(arugula and mixed greens), but not bitter at all; salad also so delicious, fresh, crisp, mild! Highly Highly Recommend!

Our first time visiting Avanzare Italian Restaurant and it is our new Italian go to! Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was surprisingly nice inside. I had the shrimp and veal fettuccini Toscana, the veal was so tender and delicious, the shrimp were jumbo and had a great taste, we were a little disappointed with the shrimp being tail on but probably our only complaint. My husband had the Cajun Chicken Rigatoni and it was exactly what he was hoping for with a bit of spice. We are going to become their new monthly regulars for sure!

For our eighth wedding anniversary, we slipped away to Avanzare for a quiet dinner. No toddlers climbing the booth. No bottles lined up on the table. Just the two of us enjoying a slow meal in a season that rarely slows down. We had been to Avanzare before when the lighting felt a little too dim and the seating was not at its best. This visit felt completely different. The lighting was warmer, the space felt cleaner, and the mix of booths and tables made the whole restaurant feel open and comfortable. You can tell they have made thoughtful improvements. Avanzare has a relaxed Italian charm that sits right in the middle of simple and special. They use paper napkins, plastic cups, disposable dressing cups, and no tablecloths, which gives everything a laid back, unfussy feel. I typically lean toward a more classic table setting for special nights out, and my husband is happiest with a simple no frills style. It ended up meeting both of our preferences right in the middle, which felt very on brand for us. It is also the kind of place where you can enjoy really good food without feeling like you need to dress up your manners. The kids could easily come along without a fuss if needed which fits the season of life we are in. Dean Martin and Michael Bublé played softly in the background the entire meal. The music added a nostalgic and cozy mood that made the evening feel warm and inviting. The warm braided rolls with seasoned olive oil were the perfect start. Soft, buttery, and very hard to resist. The salad was crisp and fresh with shaved parmesan and crunchy croutons. For our entrées, we did not share our food even though it was tempting. Clark ordered the Tour of Italy but swapped the fettuccine for a second helping of lasagna, which made his plate feel extra hearty and satisfying. I chose the tortellini with chicken in cream sauce which was velvety, rich, and my favorite dish of the night. The lasagna looked incredible every time it passed by our table and it tasted just as good as it looked. Avanzare gave us exactly what we needed for our eighth anniversary. Good food, a refreshed atmosphere, and music that made us want to linger a little longer. It is a lovely spot for couples who enjoy comfort with a touch of charm. INCREDIBLE! I loved trying this restaurant! The food was amazing with fresh ingredients, a ton of flavor, in a very timely manner. The portion size was great- we all had leftovers. The staff was very clean, neat, and professional. The atmosphere was so beautiful with plants, artwork, and great music taste. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family that come through this area. I didn’t take any photos of the food because I ate it too fast because it was delicious. We got some of the desserts and I did remember to take photos of them- and they were amazing!

EXCELLENT! Wife and I went to lunch after church. Could not be more pleased with the service, dinning atmosphere, and food. I had the Cajun shrimp and Salmon fettuccine. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The Salmon steak was delicious. Firm, flaky as it should be and a perfect flavor balance of seasoning and Salmon flavor. We were also treated with a piece of tiramisu. First time having tiramisu, so I really have nothing to compare it to. But, it was extremely good.

I found this restaurant on a lunch meeting about three years ago. It is one of those unexpected finds…a hole in the wall in a small town. It is located in a store front, with a simple facade just off the highway. You walk though the door to quiet classic music and greenery throughout. It is obvious that someone put their heart into this restaurant! The service is polite, friendly and prompt. Upon sitting, the most amazing fresh twisted rolls with herb infused oil are immediately brought to the table. The food is always hot, fresh and authentically impressive! I bring friends and family here often, leaving every time with gushing reviews and take home boxes from the generous portions. It has that kind of atmosphere that is perfect for a family dinner, a business lunch, or a nice date night ! The quality is worth a 30 minute drive from Jonesboro or a detour on your travels through the Paragould area. I will recommend Avanzare again and again!

Literally my favorite place in town. The atmosphere, service, and food is always a delight! I’ve had several items off the menu and each one has been delicious! They’re also very generous with serving their dinner rolls. Makes this girls heart happy.

We had a party of 3 and every plate was delicious and our server, Leo, made our dining experience great. Very attentive, helpful and had a smile on his face and cared about his service. Highly recommend eating here! Homemade Italian can’t be beat.
