This is not like the other Monjunis I have been to. This is exceptional Italian food and very friendly. Best service and really good people. Everything i have tried is awesome!!! Its hard to find good service and good Italian food anymore. But they have it here. And if you come, try the mint tea, it is awesome!!! If your in Bossier City , Louisiana, come by and try it. I guarantee you will be back. My favorite place to eat when we come here!!!
We dined at this location for the first time...it won't be our last! We were warmly greeted, and seated by the owner, Lisa Susano. My wife chose the chicken lasagna and I had the cheesy chicken spaghetti. Both were hits! Hot, very flavorful, and generous portions. Our server, Daisy was a gem. We even ordered the crawfish ravioli and some Italian cream cake to go...both, were awesome as well. We are already looking forward to our next trip!
I have been raised eating true Italian meals, Grandma was Sicilian, but I am in love with the sweet marinara sauce. I measure all Italian restaurants by a basic spaghetti and meatballs comparison, and I love theirs. Grandma would not approve of the sweet sauce but I bet she would love it.
Great food, great staff, and I loved the decor! The table bread is excellent, we loved the meatball nachos and their lasagna is amazing. Not your typical red sauce, very sweet, which I enjoyed.
I’m changing my review to include that since the original post the location has been on point every time I visited. The flavors are always good. The service is always fantastic and quick. This is our favorite location now! It is in a convenient location. I frequent Airline Dr. and I love Italian food! The fried ravioli is delicious and the house salad is the best ever!
BLUF: YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE! Other review raved about the mint tea… verdict- they were RIGHT! The mint tea is refreshing and really tastes like mint! It is so refreshing. Yes, I am taking home some of this tea!!! I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and it really filled me up. The taste was so good that I know I will be coming back! If you have read any of my other reviews you know I appreciate and value CUSTOMER SERVICE! Yes, this is a very customer centric place of business. The best spaghetti from a restaurant I've ever had. Even having moved to the DFW metroplex, I still can't find any restaurants that top this place. This spaghetti has the closest taste to my grandmother's spaghetti that she made when she was alive. The meatballs are great. Beware if you are dieting because the side bread and sauce are addicting. The spaghetti sauce has a sweet taste and I know that some people don't like that, but I absolutely love it.
OMG soooo good. The sauce is like Crack so addictive. I want some bottled up to take home! Food was so good. Staff very friendly, service was great. Definitely recommend eating here.
