What's great? 1)Incredible selection. 2)Good quality food 3)Diverse ambiance. Patio Yes, Bar Yes, Romantic little booths Yes, Large back area great for larger parties and more seating Yes. 30 plus year of visiting Santa Barbara and if I had to guess Pascucci is about 25 years old. Almost every trip is good for a stop here for a wonderful Italian dinner at a great value. Looking for super chic/high end, not this, but other than that I would be surprised if you didn't love it.
This is our must hit spot every time we come to Santa Barbara. The food is great, service is good, and prices are amazingly reasonable. I remember when we used to wait in a long line to get a table, but then they got rid of their famous chocolate creme brule and it just isn't quite the same. It is however still awesome and the ravioli sampler is amazing!
Pascucci is located in downtown Santa Barbara. It was a quaint little restaurant on State street. Table was in between romantic and modern setting. The staff were friendly and Welcoming. We ordered the lunch special which came with a salad, lasagna , and drink. We also ordered their Pasta Pascucci (picture shown) which was delicious. My daughter loved it. I ordered their salmon dish, didn't like so I exchanged for the Pasta Pascucci. All in all it was a great little Italian restaurant.
Okay, so this is one of those hidden gems. The wife and I came into Pascucci for some Italian food and we were taken by surprise with the size of the restaurant, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the dinning equipment, the food and options of deliciousness. I ordered hot tea, which they bring out a variety of teas for you to pick, mix and have the strength be strong. Their cold tea is a strong and flavorful. Okay now to the best part, my wife ordered a plate that had salmon and butternut squash raviolis. Her meal melted in your mouth, it was cooked just perfect. My meal was a chicken piccata, the chicken was so flavorful and delicious that I was in love at first bit. Our whole experience continued with awesome service and delectable desserts with cheesecake and tiramisu. To our server thank you for all the hard word that the staff and you do.
Dinner special, 3 course with a drink. The garlic bread was so good, salad ok, the balsamic vinaigrette saved it. Add the two together Chicken Piccata, creamy and tasty. Portion was good and filling. Tiramisu was good, family shared and was finished before I could take a proper pic. Was a good combo, very filling. Service provided was good, drinks arrived promtly and food didn't take long.
Magical Find, some serious Italian food business! Whenever you go to Santa Barbara - have a meal here, it’s magnificent. The service and staff is without an equal. Will go back again for the love of Italian food.
Food was just ok...but the service, top notch. Portions are a bit on the small side. Overall, the place was ok
Great service. It looked like a busy night, but we were welcomed, and the waiter was always polite and tentative
I recently dined at this Italian/Mexican restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations! The variety of vegetarian options was impressive, and the drinks were fantastic. The prices were reasonable, making it an excellent value for the experience. The free freshly baked garlic cheese bread they served was a delightful and mouthwatering start to the meal. The bruschetta was a true highlight with its fresh ingredients and flavorful toppings. The pizza and ravioli were both outstanding, delivering authentic tastes that left us craving for more. But what stood out the most was their impeccable service - the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcomed. Additionally, the restaurant's ambiance was wonderful, creating a relaxed and inviting vibe. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!
Our first time here and we’re locals! Should have come sooner. Decor is lovely and our server, Megan, was excellent. The Caesar salad was excellent and plenty to share, Especially if you’re getting a pasta in an entrée. We had the amazing lasagna and I had the fettuccine. Both were superb and the lasagna was excellent with the variety of beef. The wine list is extensive and well put together. Terrific dinner with only one tiny caveat that it can be a tiny bit loud if there are large tables, but not to override the delicious food. Can’t wait to return
