I really enjoyed my evening at this wonderful restaurant I really enjoy the lighting. It is calm and inviting. The service is top-notch. The staff are extremely friendly. As for the food, it’s delicious. The staff are very helpful to explain the menu.. Highly recommend visiting this very comfortable restaurant

Beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere amazing food. One of the best Italian food in Montreal fresh ingredients will cookt .but our server Marco is the most incredible server .very professional. Very much of gentleman great experience in hospitality .thank you Marco for amazing service and we injoy the food so much we have to give special things too chef and his crew. We be back too toro rosso restaurant every time we come to Montreal.

March 08, 2023 First of all, sitting here and reading some of the bad reviews, do not at all sound like the same restaurant that we went to for our dinner. Plus, some of them are from four and/or seven years ago. I am not sure if this restaurant is under new management. Either way, in my opinion, it's Irrelevant! We all usually have different experiences. We had an AMAZING experience here! From the second we walked in, we were welcomed by our Server. Also, i need to metion thst even the Chef noticed us and said hello. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very attentive, and friendly. They spoke perfect English, which was a huge plus for us. Overall, the service was excellent! I had the Smoked Salmon salad, that was very delicious and very large. I actually had to finish it, even though I was full enough. My Husband ordered the Seafood Pizza. He LOVED it! I had a slice and OMG! SO GOOD! The prices are very reasonable here for the quality of the food. This Italian Restaurant is Gorgeous inside. So Romantic. Beautiful colors. Of course, you can't leave an Italian Restaurant without ending the night with a Tiramisu DELICIOUS! FRESH! Thank you very much for an AMAZING night! Toro Rosso is a great Italian restaurant in the Village. They have an excellent menu that spans a gamut of pastas and pizzas, as well as classic appetizers, cocktails, wine, and beer. The service is very friendly and attentive, but still laid back enough to not be intimidating. They have an excellent prix fixe menu, and a very very affordable pasta + wine/beer combination between the hours of 4-6p. Their portions are excellent, and the pasta is prepared fresh to order. They have a sizeable terrace if eating outdoors is your thing, too. I can’t wait to return. They also have nice wine options. 5*

I ordered the Arabbiata penne pasta with Italian sausage and had an appetizer of garlic bread. The waiter was very nice and would like to note they speak English as well. It was a good atmosphere except they didn’t have air conditioning and it was quite hot when I went. The pasta was around $20 and the noodles were very Al dente. Flavor was good and cooked perfectly. For the price the quality of the dish was extraordinary. I give the pasta a 9/10. The garlic bread was $4.99 and they were very crispy. It was 4 pieces of browned garlic bread covered in cheese. Flavor was good and went well with the pasta. I give it a 7.5/10. If you are looking for good Italian food then I highly suggest this establishment. It is very fairly priced and you get food of really high quality. Staff is very nice and you will have a nice time dining in.

We went here on our girls' trip to Montreal. It was 7 of us .. This place was packed and we were lucky to get in without reservation. The food is delicious. The only thing is that there were only 3 servers and they were swamped. The food took a while to come out. We were not even given water. We had to wait to even get the attention of the servers and then ask them to bring us water. Our server, Leonardo was funny and very nice; he was just too busy. I want to give 5 stars, but they need to get more staff especially on weekend evenings.

Food was lovely, the waiter was great but a little busy on his own. Pizza was nice, not the best pizza I've ever had, but tasty. The pesto pasta was delicious , Al dente and seasoned well. The lights kept flickering, must be a faulty wire somewhere ! But added to the ambiance.

Service is incredible! We felt very taken care of. I was not impressed by the gorgonzola et noix salad. The lettuce wasn't fresh. The seafood pizza was alright, and once our server brought over the peperoncino oil, it went VERY WELL together. I found the table placements to be very tight, to the point that a new patron was not able to get into the table behind ours, to the point we had to shift both. The place was not overly crowded though.

Delicious food. Great service. Good prices. Definitely worth the trip. Pizza was very good.

Older restaurant that could use a refresh on the decor but the service and food are really good and the price point is definitely ideal for a date night. It took some time to get our order but the fresh bread we received was a good treat.

The best pasta I have had in a very long time. Awesome atmosphere eating outside and the service is great.

Andrea was our waitress on Saturday night, and she was amazing. Despite the restaurant being packed, she welcomed us and made us feel like we were her top priority. The food was outstanding. She even said, 'I will see you tomorrow when you come back.' We felt so good about the experience that we came back today, and she welcomed us and called us by our names (Robert and Jorge). Once again, the food was amazing, and her service was excellent.
