10/10 experience. We ordered 12 mochis (6 strawberry, 1 chichi, 2 peach, 1 grape, 1 strawberry shortcake, and 1 butter) and they gave us 16 with 4 extra strawberry ones! The total came out to be around $36. The prices are reasonable and lower than other mochi spots I’ve tried, and the quality is great. I find that a lot of places put too much red bean and it’s too sweet, but this place had the perfect balance. I would recommend ordering ahead though, because there was already a line at 10 (when the store opened). Staff were friendly and service was efficient. I got my order a couple minutes after I arrived.

There is almost always a big line to enter this tiny little storefront and order some of the most exquisite, beautiful mochi you’ll ever taste or see. Make sure there are some fruit-filled mochis in your order. The bing cherry is a work of art (as are all the mochis here, to be honest).

A Hilo must for Mochi lovers! Placed order on Thursday for Saturday pickup. per Sticker instructions, wrapped box in aluminum foil before placing in ziploc to freeze. Hand-carried large assorted box to Honolulu; and mochi was still chilled, fresh, and deliciously soft by the time we got home Mahalo nui to everyone at Two Ladies Kitchen for nearly 20 years of dedication in proving quality goodies in Hilo!

Amazing experience! We ordered the strawberry, apple, orange, lilikoi, cherry and peanut butter. Everyone had a different favorite but they were all amazing and they gave us a few extra strawberry mochis! We will definitely be back for more.

We waited 30 minutes even when we arrived as soon as store opened. Its a small cozy place. The service is excellent as they explained us several flavors of Mocha. We loved the Strawberry Shortcake Mochie and we took several assorted flavors as well. The Strawberry mocha and oreo cookie michas were good too but we would recommend the shortcake a must.

You can find colorful and delicious mochi here! The photo is a bit old, but they always have adorable treats whenever I stop by.

We got a variety of mochi - okinawan sweet potato, kamato, shiso, plum flower, bing cherry, and strawberry. All the mochis were soft and tasty, but our favorites were the cherry and strawberry - the fruit was super juicy and sweet.
